TriXie Interviews FuzzyLovePanda

He hosts big LAN parties in his Gamercave and if you have a panic attack because you suck at a game, he'll know what to do. Say Hi to FuzzyLove Panda.
trixie360: What's the story behind your Gamertag?
FuzzyLovePanda: This is still something I struggle with. I guess you'll just have to use your imagination on this one. But since its adoption, I have used FuzzyLovePanda for my general gaming alias.
FuzzyLovePanda.
trixie360: I don't think I want to use my imagination for those purposes. Where do you live?
FuzzyLovePanda: During the school year I live in the Bronx and during the summer I live in Shoreham, New York, out on Long Island … or should I say Lawn Guyland?
trixie360: Probably not. What do you do for work/school?
FuzzyLovePanda: I go to Fordham University where I'm currently studying Biology and volunteer as an EMT. During the summer I work for Kodak at a local water park taking photographs. I'd much rather be at school, though. I mean seriously, Kodak is great and all, but it's a far second compared to my college life.
trixie360: What's the worst or weirdest job you've ever had?
FuzzyLovePanda: For graduation at Fordham University, all the volunteer EMS students are invited to drive golf carts around all day to shuffle people's families around. There was one particular instance where an older individual entered my vehicle and hit their head on the sharp edge of my rear view mirror. This person soon discovered they had a laceration on their head and said, "Oh my God, I'm bleeding." To which I replied, "Luckily you just sat down next to an EMT."
trixie360: How long have you been on Xbox LIVE®?
FuzzyLovePanda: I don't even remember. For a while I was under my brother's account, Zyphane. I'm pretty sure we had gotten LIVE in 2002 when it came out. But it wasn't until a few years later when I branched out and took on my own gamertag, FuzzyLovePanda, that I really began investing a lot of time into Xbox LIVE.
trixie360: Do you have an archenemy on Xbox LIVE, and if so, who?
FuzzyLovePanda: Jamdbz. He's a good friend of mine, and I like to think I'm going to surpass his Gamerscore one day, but it hasn't happened in over a year and a half.

Now that's a gamer cave.
trixie360: Nobody wins an arms race. What's your Xbox setup like?
FuzzyLovePanda: I have an Xbox 360® Pro hooked up to a 47-inch Samsung HDTV via an HDMI cable. The surround sound system is coming. For the LAN parties I host with my friends, we hook up 5 HDTVs and bring multiple fans to keep my basement cool, but it still heats up a lot.
trixie360: Hopefully there are windows for ventilation. What's the best feature of Xbox LIVE?
FuzzyLovePanda: The mute button. I think everyone can relate.
trixie360: What is your favorite multiplayer Xbox game?
FuzzyLovePanda: Battlefield: Bad Company™. I have all but two achievements in the game (Beans Bullets Bandages – Get 10,002 kills online, and I Am Bad Company! – Achieve all awards). I love playing the support class. Otherwise I'm not a really big multiplayer junkie. I also enjoy Call of Duty®: World at War, Guitar Hero™, and a little Halo® 3 online.
trixie360: Bring the rain, FuzzyLovePanda, bring the rain. What is your favorite single player Xbox game?
FuzzyLovePanda: Mass Effect™. I'm currently on Feros in my sixth playthrough (Vanguard with Singularity on Insane). I should have all the achievements after this playthrough. Can't wait for Mass Effect 2! I also very much enjoyed Grand Theft Auto IV™, the Call of Duty series, Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway, Fable® II, the Gears series, and Halo® 3.
trixie360: What do you think is the best game of all time?
FuzzyLovePanda: This is a hard one. I would probably have to say that a lot of the earlier games I played as a child really hit home for me. DOOM®, Fury 3, Day of the Tentacle, Lemmings 3D, Oregon Trail, Duke Nukem 3D, Half-Life, and probably a few more I can't recall right now.
trixie360: Game was singular! What do you think is the best film of all time?
FuzzyLovePanda: The Shawshank Redemption.
trixie360: Better. What do you think is the best album of all time?
FuzzyLovePanda: The Beatles (The White Album) by The Beatles.
trixie360: Rock Band or Guitar Hero?
FuzzyLovePanda: I'm a big Guitar Hero fan. I play expert guitar in both games, but I find Guitar Hero to be much more fun. However, Rock Band is definitely the better title if you want to rock out with an entire band.
S
Two more achievements to go.
trixie360: What's the funniest thing you've ever heard on Xbox LIVE?
FuzzyLovePanda: I remember playing Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare™ online once when a kid who had left his microphone on was being yelled at by his Mom for being on Xbox too long. He was such a little spoiled whiner.
trixie360: Mmm, chocolate milk. What is your greatest Xbox LIVE moment?
FuzzyLovePanda: Probably reaching top rank (General of the Army) in Battlefield: Bad Company. I've never really played any multiplayer game on Xbox LIVE so much that I achieved the highest rank, so I guess this is my greatest moment … haha.
trixie360: What's your favorite TV show?
FuzzyLovePanda: Scrubs. If only being a doctor was going to be like that. Or ER. But I'm sure there's some mundane medium between the two that is the reality of a doctor's life.
trixie360: Who is your inner rock star?
FuzzyLovePanda: Bono … an optimistic visionary.
trixie360: If they made a movie about your life, who should play you?
FuzzyLovePanda: Jason Biggs … and not necessarily because my life is like American Pie.
trixie360: Uhh … What's your karaoke song?
FuzzyLovePanda: "It's My Life" by Bon Jovi.
trixie360: Favorite cartoon character?
FuzzyLovePanda: SpongeBob SquarePants!
trixie360: What superpower would you like to have?
FuzzyLovePanda: Time control. Or at least the ability to slow/speed up time. Seriously, slow down time, play every Xbox game in existence, then go back to your life. Well I guess we're assuming now that the time I'm experiencing is going by normally.
trixie360: If you could trade places with anyone for one day, who would it be?
FuzzyLovePanda: Zach Braff … If not, then Brian Austin Green, Megan Fox's boyfriend.
trixie360: With a time machine, you could woo her Groundhog Day-style. What celebrity would be the worst roommate?
FuzzyLovePanda: Vin Diesel because he'd probably be up all night playing World of Warcraft. Yeah, he really plays WoW … He's a warrior apparently.

He's on his sixth playthrough of Mass Effect.
trixie360: How many people are on your Friends List?
FuzzyLovePanda: 15, but I really like to keep my friends list to a small intimate few whom I all know in the real world. I don't think I will ever hit the friend cap.
trixie360: Who's your favorite superhero?
FuzzyLovePanda: All the emergency personnel I've ever worked with. While there is a fun factor involved with volunteering (mostly because of the camaraderie), volunteers in fire and EMS and all other walks of volunteering are being truly selfless, taking a part of themselves and giving it back to society. And well, that right there in all its clichéd glory is the definition of a superhero.
trixie360: Cheers to that. Hot celeb you'd like to be stranded on a desert island with?
FuzzyLovePanda: I wouldn't be in my right mind if I didn't say Megan Fox.
trixie360: If you could be any video game character, who would it be?
FuzzyLovePanda: Niko Bellic … Because, well, we all wanted our oh-so-illustrious Slavic cousin Roman to die and it never happened. I would have loved to have just said "Forget it Roman, I'm not going to help you pay off your gambling debts … I'm just going to shoot you in the face."
trixie360: You are slightly disturbed. What's the worst food you've ever eaten?
FuzzyLovePanda: At college, I was in desperate need of ketchup so I went to the fridge in the lounge in my dorm. Needless to say I unknowingly, at the time, ate 8 months expired ketchup.
trixie360: What's the first video game you ever played?
FuzzyLovePanda: Lemmings. You know, looking back, it was a very sadistic game.
trixie360: I concur. What's the last book you read?
FuzzyLovePanda: How Doctors Think by Jerome Groopman, M.D.
trixie360: If you could go on tour with any band, which would it be?
FuzzyLovePanda: Hmm. Avenged Sevenfold!
trixie360: What do you predict will be the "next big thing" in gaming?
FuzzyLovePanda: Well, as not to think too grandiose, I'm a big sucker for interaction with the environment. I have come to love games such as Red Faction®: Guerrilla™ and Battlefield: Bad Company because of the destructible environments. I hope the gaming industry continues on this trend of fleshing out game environments in an effort to push the boundaries of gaming.
trixie360: You should go back and play BLACK™. What do you think is the best thing about Xbox 360?
FuzzyLovePanda: The overall power of the system, which has allowed for a wide spectrum of games ranging from the simple B games, to those one of a kind games that so often push the boundaries of the gaming industry ever outward. And I'm glad the Xbox has been making a lot of headway in this area in lieu of the probably more powerful PS3 (Don't worry Microsoft PR editors, the Xbox is definitely way better overall anyway so don't censor me =P) [Hit has been cancelled, thank you. – Microsoft PR].
trixie360: What is the Xbox 360 Achievement that was hardest to get?
FuzzyLovePanda: Meet Your Maker in Guitar Hero® III: Legends of Rock. I mean it's not too hard to win a multiplayer match in Guitar Hero, but how often do you play against AND then beat a creator of Guitar Hero? Not too often. My jaw dropped to the floor when I noticed I got this achievement.
trixie360: What would you like to be doing in ten years?
FuzzyLovePanda: I hope to be practicing medicine, maybe Emergency Medicine? Oh, and of course, gaming! Hopefully by then we'll be playing on Microsoft's fourth-generation console! I can only imagine the state of the gaming industry in 10 years.
