Trixie360 Interviews kroberts11

She's a Canadian going to school in Charlotte, NC. She loves Metallica, hates tofu, and is proud of earning the Bend it like a pro achievement in FIFA Soccer 09. Say howdy to kroberts11.

trixie360: What's the story behind your gamertag?

kroberts11: It's pretty plain and simple really, just my first initial and my last name, as well as the coolest number ever, 11!

trixie360: Where do you live?

kroberts11: I currently live in Charlotte, North Carolina. (Go Panthers!)

trixie360: What do you do when you're not playing video games?

kroberts11: I attend the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. (Go Niners!)

trixie360: How long have you been on Xbox LIVE®?

kroberts11: I've been on LIVE since November of '07. I was finally lucky enough to get an Xbox 360® for my birthday, thanks to my Mom, and I've been on LIVE ever since!

trixie360: What's your Xbox setup like?

kroberts11: Well, my own setup in my dorm/future apartment is a 26-inch Westinghouse HDTV, with not much else to go with it … but I'm a college kid, what can you do, right? However, when I go home, my parents have a 65-inch Mitsubishi HDTV with Dolby 5.1 surround sound (Harmon Kardon AVR). Clearest picture I have EVER seen, and a treat to play on.

trixie360: What's the best feature of Xbox LIVE?

kroberts11: Being able to connect with all my friends and game with them when they aren't beside me. I especially love the new party feature that allows you to talk to friends who aren't even playing the same game as you. It's awesome.

trixie360: What is your favorite multiplayer Xbox game?

kroberts11: I definitely love Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare™ and Call of Duty: World at War. I have been playing them non-stop since I got them, and you always get a different group of players with each match you join, which makes it fun.

kroberts11 is a fan of the Call of Duty series.

trixie360: What is your favorite single player Xbox game?

kroberts11: I have to say that I just played through Fable® II, and it is amazing. I can't wait to replay it as a good character, since my first character was kind of a jerk.

trixie360: What do you think is the best game of all time?

kroberts11: I think that Final Fantasy VII is the coolest game I've ever played and the best ever.

trixie360: What do you think is the best album of all time?

kroberts11: Definitely Master of Puppets by Metallica. So so SO AMAZING! Being able to play a lot of those songs on Guitar Hero® Metallica® when it came out definitely made my life!

trixie360: Rock Band or Guitar Hero?

kroberts11: I think they are both good for different aspects, but I prefer Guitar Hero.

trixie360: What's the funniest thing you've ever heard on Xbox LIVE?

kroberts11: I was playing Call of Duty, and sniped one of my opponents as soon as he got put into last stand, giving me the kill, aka stealing it from one of my teammates. Anyway, he proceeded to send me a few voice messages yelling at me for "sucking at this game," cussing at me, etc. I just laughed. It brings to mind The Joker … "Why so serious?"

She loves the new Guitar Hero Metallica game.

trixie360: What is your greatest Xbox LIVE moment?

kroberts11: I wouldn't say there was just one … having a really good game on CoD makes me happy … those games where you get artillery and dogs a few times a round? So AWESOME, and so fun!

trixie360: If they made a movie about your life, who should play you?

kroberts11: Ali Larter, definitely. She doesn't take crap from anyone, and that is definitely like me.

trixie360: What's your karaoke song?

kroberts11: The whole jukebox … I will sing anything! I'm not promising it'll be good though. But, if I had to pick one … any Celine Dion song. Those high notes are my favorite.

trixie360: What superpower would you like to have?

kroberts11: Mind reader. I would love to know what some people are ACTUALLY thinking sometimes.

trixie360: If you could trade places with anyone for one day, who would it be?

kroberts11: Cristiano Ronaldo. It would be awesome to play soccer for Manchester United, and be one of the best young soccer players in the world.

trixie360: What celebrity would be the worst roommate?

kroberts11: Ashton Kutcher … all he does is prank people and play tricks on everyone. I'd probably get ticked after maybe a day.

trixie360: How many people are on your Friends List?

kroberts11: 25 at the moment.

trixie360: Hot celeb you'd like to be stranded on a desert island with?

kroberts11: Channing Tatum. So … incredibly … gorgeous.

Her first video game was Sonic The Hedgehog 2.

trixie360: If you could be any video game character, who would it be?

kroberts11: Cloud from Final Fantasy VII definitely. He is my favorite video game character. Plus who wouldn't want to have the Buster Sword? Link is a close second.

trixie360: What's the worst food you've ever eaten?

kroberts11: Tofu. Ugh, it barely made it into my mouth before I spit it back out.

trixie360: The texture is just ICK. What's the first video game you ever played?

kroberts11: Sonic the Hedgehog™ 2. My parents bought me a Sega Genesis when I was young, and I played that game religiously.

trixie360: If you could go on tour with any band, which would it be?

kroberts11: Metallica, no doubt.

trixie360: What do you predict will be the "next big thing" in gaming?

kroberts11: I feel that more and more people are playing games now, casual or not. Playing with friends is huge, and putting that on an online scale is even better. It sort of is already the "next big thing" currently, but I believe it will keep growing.

trixie360: What do you think is the best thing about Xbox 360?

kroberts11: Online. It's the best.

trixie360: What is the Xbox 360 Achievement that was hardest to get?

kroberts11: For me it was the free kick (Bend it like a pro) achievement on FIFA Soccer 09. I am getting better at them (sometimes … ?), but I could not hit a free kick for the life of me. I think when I got the achievement, it was a wee bit luck. But I am trying to recreate what I did every time I get one.

trixie360: What would you like to be doing in ten years?

kroberts11: Expanding my gaming collection. I am a huge collector of anything to do with gaming … so hopefully I will have a good job, and be able to afford everything to do with video games!

The Nomination Mail:

What's up TriXie, et al? I just wanted to throw a nomination out for myself for the Gamer Spotlight. A little background on me—I've been playing video games since I could hold a controller (I even have pictures!), and was always found playing Sonic and Aladdin on Sega Genesis. I have turned into a huge collector of video games, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I (finally) joined the Xbox scene in November of 2007, when my mom got me a 360 for my birthday! Ever since then, I have been playing all I can on LIVE, and loving every minute of it.

Some little things about me … I play soccer, and actually, most sports. I love watching sports as well … soccer, football, basketball, hockey, you name it, I probably enjoy it! I'm also a huge fan of cooking (and eating, too!). One of my favorite dishes is the simple, yet easy Canadian (French) deliciousness, poutine! A bowl of fries, with some cheese curd (mozza cheese if you can't find it), topped off with some hot gravy that melts the cheese. It is AMAZING. Thanks for taking the time to read this email and consider me for the Gamer Spotlight! I'm gonna get back to whooping (or getting whooped) on Call of Duty! See ya later :)
