Trixie360 Interviews kittypryde87

Published May 27, 2009

She likes killing zombies, is studying film, and hopes to be a cinematographer some day. Say "Action!" to kittypryde87.

trixie360: What's the story behind your Gamertag?

kittypryde87: Shadowcat is my favorite of the X-Men and I was born in 1987. Pryde is not spelled wrong as many think it is; that is how Kitty Pryde spelled her last name.

trixie360: Where do you live?

kittypryde87: Sonoma, California in the middle of the wine country.

trixie360: What do you do in Sonoma?

kittypryde87: I am a film major with hopes of one day going into cinematography.

trixie360: What's the worst or weirdest job you've ever had?

kittypryde87: A costumed tour guide. I wore a high-collared, long-sleeved dress in the middle of July. It was awful.

trixie360: How long have you been on Xbox LIVE®?

kittypryde87: A little over a year.

trixie360: What's your Xbox setup like?

kittypryde87: 42-inch LCD, very comfortable couch, and music pumping from my iPod through my 360.

trixie360: What's the best feature of Xbox LIVE?

kittypryde87: Netflix watch instantly is an awesome way to watch a ton of movies and TV shows.

trixie360: What do you think is the best game of all time?

kittypryde87: Portal.

The intricacies of Portal get a callout from kittypryde87.

trixie360: Rock Band or Guitar Hero?

kittypryde87: Rock Band® for sure! I have an all-female superhero/villain band called Ladies Knight.

trixie360: Nice! What's the funniest thing you've ever heard on Xbox LIVE?

kittypryde87: "I only missed those notes because I died of boredom and was trying to revive myself." My friend said that after playing drums on expert to "Psycho Killer" in Rock Band 2.

trixie360: What is your greatest Xbox LIVE moment?

kittypryde87: My friend was playing Left 4 Dead™ for the first time. He had about 60 health, the rest of us had under 20 health, and there was one health pack left. Of course he took the health pack, and used it even after we kept telling him not to. So, as revenge my friends and I lit him on fire for the rest of the game whenever we were able to. The best part was every time he was on fire he would ask, "Why am I on fire??!" It took him 40 minutes to figure out we were lighting him on fire.

trixie360: Who is your inner rock star?

kittypryde87: Sid Vicious because I am the type of person who would not be able to play a musical instrument and would start a band.

trixie360: If they made a movie about your life, who should play you?

kittypryde87: Kristin Chenoweth because my life would definitely be a musical.

trixie360: What's your karaoke song?

kittypryde87: "You Oughta Know" by Alanis Morissette.

She started her gaming career with Sonic.

trixie360: What superpower would you like to have?

kittypryde87: It would be really cool to be able to read other people's minds but at the same time that might kind of suck.

trixie360: If you could trade places with anyone for one day, who would it be?

kittypryde87: James Gunn because I really admire his work and would want to see how it is done.

trixie360: What celebrity would be the worst roommate?

kittypryde87: Steve-O.

trixie360: He looks as if he would smell like crotch rot. How many people are on your Friends List?

kittypryde87: About 60.

trixie360: Who's your favorite superhero?

kittypryde87: The Black Canary. What she lacks in cool abilities, she makes up for in hotness.

trixie360: Hot celeb you'd like to be stranded on a desert island with?

kittypryde87: Jensen Ackles.

trixie360: If you could be any video game character, who would it be?

kittypryde87: Princess Peach. Sa-weeet.

Avoiding vomit in Left 4 Dead was her most difficult achievement earned.

trixie360: What's the worst food you've ever eaten?

kittypryde87: I don't know if it counts but when I was a kid I took a bite out of a deodorant to see what it tasted like. Verdict = not good.

trixie360: What's the first video game you ever played?

kittypryde87: Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Game Gear.

trixie360: What's the last book you read?

kittypryde87: Killing Yourself to Live: 85% of a True Story by Chuck Klosterman.

trixie360: If you could go on tour with any band, which would it be?

kittypryde87: Gomez. They would be really fun to hang out with.

trixie360: What do you predict will be the "next big thing" in gaming?

kittypryde87: Chip implants of games that we can play in our head without even moving.

trixie360: What do you think is the best thing about Xbox 360®?

kittypryde87: I really like how easy it is to operate. I do like the NXE and how it isn't just a console. It's an entertainment system and social networker.

trixie360: What is the Xbox 360 Achievement that was hardest to get?

kittypryde87: Stomach Upset on Left 4 Dead. I can't tell you how many times I tried for it. Not looking forward to trying for Nothing Special.

trixie360: What would you like to be doing in ten years?

kittypryde87: I would like to be working for an independent production company as a director of photography.

The Nomination Mail:

Trixie,

I would like to nominate myself to be a featured gamer on Xbox LIVE. I am a film major from California going to school with hopes of becoming a cinematographer. Something that sets me aside from other gamers is that my Dad and I play Left 4 Dead together online. I am also a girlie girl who likes to kill zombies as well as do makeup and hair.

Thanks for your consideration,
