Trixie360 Interviews Persian BazOoka
Published May 20, 2009
He's a game designer at EA who likes to dress up like a chicken and kiss squirrels. For real. Say hello to Persian BazOoka!
trixie360: What's the story behind your Gamertag?
Persian BazOoka: It's actually a dish I once cooked up. It consists of a cheese-dipped kabob wrapped in bacon, deep fried, then covered in chili and served on a bed of basmati rice.

Persian BazOoka.
trixie360: Where do you live?
Persian BazOoka: Sunny, melt your face, Los Angeles, California.
trixie360: What do you do for a living?
Persian BazOoka: I'm a game designer at EA/Pandemic Studios.
trixie360: What's the worst or weirdest job you've ever had?
Persian BazOoka: Oh boy. Well, I've actually had plenty. I've worked at so many places doing so many different things, but the craziest was refilling fire extinguishers. Unscrewing the top without releasing the pressure is a BAD idea. Did you know some fire extinguishers are potato-based?
trixie360: I did not know that! How long have you been on Xbox LIVE®?
Persian BazOoka: Ever since I bought my 360 about 5 or 6 years ago.
trixie360: Do you have an archenemy on Xbox LIVE, and if so, who?
Persian BazOoka: My buddy Ray Herrera. I am trying to beat him in achievements! Ray, I will find you, and I will destroy you with Persian food!
trixie360: What's your Xbox setup like?
Persian BazOoka: I have a Resident Evil 5 Elite hooked up to a 42-inch 1080p with surround, and another black Elite hooked up to a 47-inch 1080p with surround as well. Nothing beats 4v4 local Halo® 3 after a game of King's Cup.
trixie360: What's the best feature of Xbox LIVE?
Persian BazOoka: Where do I start? There's the dashboard, there's Netflix, the ease of joining games, purchasing content, wow, I love it all. But to have one choice, I would say, ACHIEVEMENTS! I was an underachiever in elementary school, so this is a way to prove myself!

See? He really can kiss a squirrel.
trixie360: What do you think is the best game of all time?
Persian BazOoka: Zelda (NES). That game really blew me away when I played it back in the day. I actually still run through it once in a while to brush up on my speed runs.
trixie360: What do you think is the best film of all time?
Persian BazOoka: Zardoz. Please tell me you have watched it. Lulz will ensue.
trixie360: We actually watched that in film class! Freaky flick! Rock Band or Guitar Hero?
Persian BazOoka: Rock Band. The number of tracks is overwhelmingly amazing!
trixie360: What's the funniest thing you've ever heard on Xbox LIVE?
Persian BazOoka: "Shut up, you fat mole!"
trixie360: What is your greatest Xbox LIVE moment?
Persian BazOoka: Playing Left 4 Dead™ on expert with four friends and hearing everyone scream through the mic as they get pounded by the tank.
trixie360: What's your favorite TV show?
Persian BazOoka: I am a huge fan of almost all 80s TV shows, who doesn't love Mr. Belvedere, right? I'm sorry, I'm pushing it here. LOST-Evangeline Lilly. Does anyone that watches this know what in God's name is going on? It's so confusing but so good at the same time! LOL
trixie360: Not me, I stopped watching after 3 episodes. Who is your inner rock star?
Persian BazOoka: Serj Tankian.

Serj is his inner rock star and we have him on Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
trixie360: If they made a movie about your life, who should play you?
Persian BazOoka: Justin Pierre of Motion City Soundtrack. I swear people mistake me for him.
trixie360: What's your karaoke song?
Persian BazOoka: "Umbrella" by Rihanna. It pisses the snot out of everyone. :9
trixie360: What superpower would you like to have?
Persian BazOoka: I would like to have the power of the dream moth so I can devour people's minds. "Your mind is gone one," "Your mind is gone two," "Your mind is gone three."
trixie360: Ummm? If you could trade places with anyone for one day, who would it be?
Persian BazOoka: Chuck Norris. Punching people through my beard would be epic.
trixie360: What celebrity would be the worst roommate?
Persian BazOoka: Jack Thompson.
trixie360: How many people are on your Friends List?
Persian BazOoka: Around 30 - 35. I like to keep close friends and coworkers on there.
trixie360: Hot celeb you'd like to be stranded on a desert island with?
Persian BazOoka: Chun-Li. She would break coconuts open for me with her thighs.

Tim from Braid is a good choice for favorite character.
trixie360: If you could be any video game character, who would it be?
Persian BazOoka: Tim from Braid. Wouldn't it be nice to do a little CTRL-Z after running that $400 camera light?
trixie360: What's the worst food you've ever eaten?
Persian BazOoka: A Persian dish called Kaleh Pah'che. It translates to head splatter. I won't go any further.
trixie360: What's the first video game you ever played?
Persian BazOoka: I think it was Moon Patrol in 1985 when I came to the USA.
trixie360: What's the last book you read?
Persian BazOoka: Charlotte's Web.
trixie360: If you could go on tour with any band, which would it be?
Persian BazOoka: Meshuggah. I love them Swedes!
trixie360: What do you predict will be the "next big thing" in gaming?
Persian BazOoka: Google will buy everyone out and there will only be one console and one game. Whoever purchases this console gets surgical neural implants and will wear TrackIR headsets and head mounted 1080p LCD displays. It will be a fully-destructible, 3-D interactive version of Google Earth.
trixie360: What do you think is the best thing about Xbox 360?
Persian BazOoka: The best thing is how easy it is to develop on. Less headaches, more awesome sauce!
trixie360: What is the Xbox 360 Achievement that was hardest to get?
Persian BazOoka: Scorched Earth in Call of Duty®: World at War. It's raining cats and grenades. Also, finding all the poor little kitties in SUPERMAN RETURNS™: THE VIDEOGAME (Mr. Whiskers). Ew, right? :)
trixie360: What would you like to be doing in ten years?
Persian BazOoka: Getting coffee for Bill Gates. I'd go light with the sugar to help maintain healthy teeth.
