Trixie360 Interviews Parkman 0481
Published July 17, 2008
He's a gamer, a father, and has Homer Simpson's job in Peru, Indiana. Say "Semper Fi" to former Marine, Parkman 0481.
trixie360: Where do you live?
Parkman 0481: I live in Peru, Indiana. It's a small town north of Indianapolis. Not much goes on here. Nice and quiet.
trixie360: What do you do when you're not gaming?
Parkman 0481: I work for Peru Utilities as a Journeyman Power Plant Operator. Been there for just about four years now and I have loved every minute of it. It's just nice to have a job that I wake up and not dread going to.

Parkman 0481 and Ellie Noelle.
trixie360: What's the worst or weirdest job you've ever had?
Parkman 0481: Let's see … I was in the Marines from '99 to '03. That had its ups and downs but nothing really stands out. I guess the worst job that I had was the job I worked right after I got out of the service. I worked at a factory that made paper tubes. It was dusty, monotonous, and very, very boring. Luckily I got hired on at the plant and everything has been smooth sailing since then.
trixie360: How long have you been on Xbox LIVE®?
Parkman 0481: I have been a member of Xbox LIVE since December of 2004.
trixie360: Do you have an archenemy on Xbox LIVE?
Parkman 0481: I do. His Gamertag is jpacal0t. He is a D-bag who sucks at COD4. Haha.
trixie360: What's your Xbox setup like?
Parkman 0481: I have a 32-inch Sony Bravia XBR 720p with the 120hz refresh rate. Don't have a surround sound system yet. Just had a baby girl and I figured that a nice deep sub would keep her awake. I play on the Xbox Elite. I have had it since they came out. Traded in my white 360 for it. I plan on trading in my Elite for the Blu-Ray 360 if these rumors ever pan out.
trixie360: What's the best feature of Xbox LIVE?
Parkman 0481: I would have to say the friends list. The whole setup is so user friendly and it makes multiplayer games so much better when you can have your friends join up quickly and easily.

That isn't jpacal0t in his sights, is it?
trixie360: What do you think is the best game of all time?
Parkman 0481: E.T. on the Atari … Just kidding. I would have to say Metal Gear Solid. I played it a lot when it came out.
trixie360: What's the funniest thing you've ever heard on Xbox LIVE?
Parkman 0481: Some high-pitched kid getting his butt whooped by his mom for being on LIVE too late on a school night. I guess he forgot that his mic was still on because we heard everything.
trixie360: What is your greatest Xbox LIVE moment?
Parkman 0481: Beating Gears of War® with my cousin on insane. Took forever.
trixie360: If they made a movie about your life, who should play you?
Parkman 0481: Chuck Norris. People would be too scared to miss it.
trixie360: What's your karaoke song?
Parkman 0481: "The Ballad of Chasey Lain" by The Bloodhound Gang.

Gears of War on Insane, is, well, insane.
trixie360: What cartoon character do you think is most like you?
Parkman 0481: Homer Simpson (we both work in a power plant).
trixie360: What superpower would you like to have?
Parkman 0481: To turn invisible at will.
trixie360: If you could trade places with anyone for one day, who would it be?
Parkman 0481: Hugh Hefner. No explanation needed.
trixie360: Yeah, I think we can figure that one out. What celebrity would be the worst roommate?
Parkman 0481: Britney Spears. Her voice alone makes me want to kick her in the teeth. She doesn't seem too tidy. At least she wouldn't leave her underwear laying around. Haha.
trixie360: Ohhhh, I get it … because she doesn't wear any. Hot celeb you'd like to be stranded on a desert island with?
Parkman 0481: Jennifer Aniston. She seems like she would eventually give in, heheh.
trixie360: If you could be any video game character, who would it be?
Parkman 0481: Cpt. Price of Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare. He is a badass.

Sometimes being Captain Price wouldn't be too bad, like when the battle's over.
trixie360: What's the worst food you've ever eaten?
Parkman 0481: I tried squid when I was in South Korea. Felt like I was eating an ear. Gross.
trixie360: Okay, YUCK. What's the last book you read?
Parkman 0481: Snuff by Chuck Palahniuk. Good stuff. Not for kids.
trixie360: I read that too. Disturbing and funny. If you could go on tour with any band, which would it be?
Parkman 0481: Pantera. I have watched their videos a million times and all they do is drink and mess with people.
trixie360: What do you predict will be the "next big thing" in gaming?
Parkman 0481: Better motion-sensing.

Maxing achievements in Oblivion is definitely an achievement.
trixie360: What do you think is the best thing about Xbox 360®?
Parkman 0481: The easy navigation of Xbox LIVE and the 120GB hard drive.
trixie360: What is the Xbox 360 Achievement that was hardest to get?
Parkman 0481: 1000/1000 on The Elder Scrolls IV®: Oblivion™. Took me forever to go through all of the guilds.
trixie360: What would you like to be doing in ten years?
Parkman 0481: Getting my daughter Ellie to join GamerchiX.
