TriXie: So you swapped 'tags at some point. What's the deal with that?
DeaconBlade 360: Well I started out during the beta days as Racivius Dawn. Too many people would expect me to be a girl because of the Dawn in it, so I decided to change it a year later into something more manly. So I combined two of my favorite characters from my favorite movie (Blade), and there ya go … DeaconBlade 360 was born.
TriXie: Where do you live?
DeaconBlade 360: Home of the Mavs and America's Team: Dallas, Texas.
TriXie: What do you do in the land of the Worst Airport Known to Man?
DeaconBlade 360: I work in a brokerage firm here in Dallas by day and I'm a part-time webmaster/web designer by night or by whatever amount of free time I get. I'm finishing up a degree in software programming this year.
TriXie: I understand you're engaged … how does the future Mrs. DeaconBlade feel about your gaming?
DeaconBlade 360: She loves it. She bought me my first Xbox® and she used to kick my butt in some NFL Fever and Dead or Alive® 3 too. I'd like to give a shout out to Dionne!
TriXie: Describe your gaming setup. Now.
DeaconBlade 360: I have a 52-inch RCA Scenium Widescreen HDTV. It rocks! And I have a 5.1 Dolby Digital RCA surround sound system to pump the volume. HD gaming and 5.1 sound is a gamer's dream!
TriXie: What's the funniest thing you've ever heard on Xbox LIVE?
DeaconBlade 360: "You want eggs with this beat down?" It was funny because of the baby voice mask they had on.
TriXie: What is a TV show that you never miss?
DeaconBlade 360: Nip/Tuck. If you've ever seen it, you'd understand.
TriXie: Oh man, Dr. Christian Troy owns me. If they made a movie about your life, who would play you?
DeaconBlade 360: Oh that's easy: Terrence Howard. That's because he looks most like me and could capture my inner passion. <chuckle>
TriXie: What's your karaoke song?
DeaconBlade 360: "With Arms Wide Open" by Creed.
TriXie: What superpower would you like to have?
DeaconBlade 360: I'd love to have like some invisibility power that I could use whenever I wanted so that I'd never have to wait in any lines for anything or I could just disappear when it's game time and no one bothers me.
TriXie: If you could trade places with anyone for one day, who would it be?
DeaconBlade 360: My daughter. I'd like for one day to not worry about paying bills, mortgage, etc.
TriXie: You want to be a baby girl? Good thing you chose a more manly gamertag … What do you think is the best thing about Xbox 360?
DeaconBlade 360: The Dashboard. It's glorious.
