The Nomination Mail

Hello TriXie,

My Gamertag is crazzytzar and I hail from Saint Petersburg, Russia.

I'm a Russian Xbox Ambassador and I've been living in America for at least six and a half years. Before you ask, no I do not wear a big fuzzy hat and a large fur coat. :) I used to be a fan of the "other" console, that is until my friend brought over his Xbox and a copy of Halo. Everything changed from the moment I got to bash an elite's skull in with the Assault Rifle.

A couple months later I went out and bought myself an Xbox. That's where it all started. I've been a fan of the system ever since. I enjoy helping people out on the forums, online, and in real life. Giving helpful tips and teaching them how to do something, that's why I love being an Ambassador.

I would love it if you let me in the spotlight because I have much more to share with you and the community.

TriXie Interviews crazzytzar

crazzytzar

He's a high school junior in Monroe, Michigan. He also works part time at EB Games and is our only Russian-speaking Xbox® Ambassador. Meet crazzytzar.

TriXie: What's the story behind your gamertag?

crazzytzar: Well, I've had a lot of gamertags before, I think I spent at least 3200 points just by changing my tags. I decided to stick with "crazzytzar" since I always tend to pull off some crazy stuff when I'm playing video games (like turning around really quick and sniping some dude in his face in Gears of War® while he was running behind me. My friends were like "Whoa, Tzar! That was crazy!").

TriXie: How do you like working at EB Games?

crazzytzar: I like it because that's where I help out people the most. You know, helping people choose the right game for their kids or helping someone picking out a game for a certain system. My co-workers are also great and most of us love Xbox 360™.

TriXie: How long have you been on Xbox LIVE®?

crazzytzar: I have been a member of Xbox LIVE only for one year. So far I love it and I think it's worth every penny. It's probably the best online service and community I've ever been a part of.

TriXie: Do you have an arch-enemy on Xbox LIVE?

crazzytzar: He's not really an arch-enemy, he's just someone that can annoy me with grenade tagging in Gears of War. His gamertag is bayridge 01.

TriXie: How has your experience as an Ambassador been? Do you feel like you're making a difference?

crazzytzar: Definitely. I've been helping people even before I was an Ambassador, but now that I am one it's more official. My friends usually ask me for help, game info or when something new is coming out.

TriXie: As the only Russian-speaking Ambassador, can you teach me to cuss in Russian? Please?

crazzytzar: Ha. Everyone always asks that. Well TriXie, if you want me to teach you it would involve something like a Private Chat or Voice Messages. Kinda hard to teach someone how to speak another language through text.

TriXie: Okay, deal. What's your Xbox setup like?

crazzytzar: I have a 32" Panasonic HDTV with Sony Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround sound. That's the best way to game, HDTV and surround sound.

TriXie: What's the best feature of Xbox LIVE?

crazzytzar: Ah, so many features to choose from. I would have to say playing with your friends and receiving messages/friend requests and all that other good stuff. Also, downloading game trailers and demos. I never thought that it would be possible to do on a console.

TriXie: What do you think is the best game of all time?

crazzytzar:The Elder Scrolls® IV: Oblivion™. That game is just massive. I still have to beat the game, too.

TriXie: What's the funniest thing you've ever heard on Xbox LIVE?

crazzytzar: My friend falling asleep and snoring like a pig in Halo® 2. Me and my buddies messed with him while he was sleeping.

TriXie: What is your greatest Xbox LIVE moment?

crazzytzar: Meeting a bunch of other Russian gamers on Gears of War. It was fun to talk and play with someone with the same nationality as me. We also kicked a lot of butt.

TriXie: If they made a movie about your life, who should play you?

crazzytzar: Hmmm. I'm not sure if there's a celebrity that looks like me. Maybe Elijah Wood or Leonardo DiCaprio.

TriXie: What's your karaoke song?

crazzytzar: "Hellraiser" by Ozzy.

TriXie: What super power would you like to have?

crazzytzar: The ability to stop time. So many possibilities with that one.

TriXie: If you could trade places with anyone for one day, who would it be?

crazzytzar: Samuel L. Jackson. Ha, ha. "What country you from?"

TriXie: Plus that whole snakes on a plane thing! What celebrity would be the worst roommate?

crazzytzar: Arnold Schwarzenegger. Too loud.

TriXie: Hot celeb you'd like to be stranded on a desert island with?

crazzytzar: Vida Guerra. Yep.

TriXie: If you could be any videogame character, who would it be?

crazzytzar: Master Chie … tricked ya! That's the most common answer. I'd probably choose to be Tommy Vercetti. Who wouldn't want to own a whole town?

TriXie: Kim Basinger, actually. What's the worst food you've ever eaten?

crazzytzar: My Mom's tomato soup. Shhhh! Don't tell her!

TriXie: No soup for you! What's the last book you read?

crazzytzar: Cabbages and Kings by O.Henry.

TriXie: If you could go on tour with any band, which would it be?

crazzytzar: Disturbed.

TriXie: What do you think is the best thing about Xbox 360?

crazzytzar: The games, Xbox LIVE, and the media features. Oh wait that's more than one thing. Oops.

TriXie: What is the Xbox 360 Achievement that was hardest to get?

crazzytzar: Veteran for Call of Duty® 2. It's the most time consuming and the hardest achievement.

TriXie: What would you like to be doing in ten years?

crazzytzar: I would like to be some kind of web designer or maybe a programmer. Overall, I just want to make money to support my gaming needs. Thanks for the interview TriX and I'm glad to be a member of this great community that just keeps growing.
