The Important Stuff:Gamertag: Hennessy Aow The Nomination MailHey TriXie, I'm writing to nominate my husband. He is a major gamer … All he ever does is talk about video games. He knows stuff about video games even before the guys at our EB Games do! He is a great guy and really needs to meet some serious gamers … Not lil Halo® fiends! His gamer tag is Hennessy AoW. Thanx, Alizee AoW | Gamer Spotlight:TriXie Interviews Hennessy AoWHe's a husband and gamer in Medford, Oregon, who was known by the tag Ghetto Assassin on the original Xbox®. Lift a glass with Hennessy AoW. TriXie: What's the story behind your gamertag? Hennessey AoW: Well anyone who likes to hit the sauce already knows the name. It's my favorite brand of Cognac. The AoW stands for Angels of Wrath, a clan my 3 younger brothers and I started in '95. It just gives our gamer tags a personal touch. TriXie: What do you do when you're not gaming? Hennessey AoW: I'm a U.I. programmer for Comnet Marketing. We raise money for non-profit organizations all over the country. Like the Children's Hospital in New Orleans or KPLU in Seattle. TriXie: What's the worst or weirdest job you've ever had? Hennessey AoW: I was a clerk in a gas station in the "worst" part of town. Some of the strangest people buy potato chips at 3 A.M. TriXie: Sometimes a girl just needs her Cheetos! You've been on Xbox Live® since the MechAssault® days—do you have an arch enemy? Hennessey AoW: No, I can't say that I do. I have some great friends like N9NJA, MastaMojo, Alizee AoW (my wife), Ghetto Pwnisher, and Swiftizm to lay the smack down on me regularly. TriXie: What is your favorite Live-enabled game? Hennessey AoW: Well … It was Halo® 2 … but Call of Duty® 2 and Battlefield 2: Modern Combat™ are taking chunks out of my already stretched online time. TriXie: What's the funniest thing you've ever heard on Xbox Live? Hennessey AoW: I once heard an argument between an Old Southern boy and an Englishman over who would win in a fist fight between Tony Blair and George W. Man, I would be first in line for those tickets. TriXie: You'd have to get behind me, Henn! What is your greatest Xbox Live moment? Hennessey AoW: Hitting #1 on one of the Crimson Skies leader boards for a day or so. About 3 months after the game came out. TriXie: What would you like to see on Xbox.com? Hennessey AoW: A way to order take-out and charge it to your Microsoft points … or better … a way to tap into games that have TV function like Project Gotham Racing® 3 has and Forza Motorsport™ 2 will have. That would be great to kill national productivity. TriXie: What superpower would you like to have? Hennessey AoW: I would take any superhero's power … except for Aquaman … he truly got the short end of the superpower stick. TriXie: Maybe, but Aquaman was the hottest of the Super Friends. If you could trade places with anyone for one day, who would it be? Hennessey AoW: Bill Gates … but not only for the money and the access to cool tech. But he helps so many people with the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation … I would love to know what it feels like to help so many. TriXie: What's the worst food you've ever eaten? Hennessey AoW: Anything my mother-in-law cooked … ever. TriXie: Oooh you're gonna be in trouble! If you could go on tour with any band, which would it be? Hennessey AoW: The guys from Strange Music, Tech N9ne, Kutt Kalhoun, Skatterman, Snug Brim and Kriss Kalico. TriXie: What do you predict will be the 'next big thing' in gaming? Hennessey AoW: Full customization of games … just like we are starting to see with tools like the editor for The Elder Scrolls™ IV: Oblivion™ on PC, but for consoles. TriXie: What do you think is the best thing about the Xbox 360™? Hennessey AoW: The demos and Live Arcade. Oh and the wireless … Nice touch Xbox team. =) TriXie: It was totally my idea. All mine. What would you like to be doing in ten years? Hennessey AoW: Same thing I'm doing now … only in Seattle … and maybe toss a couple kids into the picture. I love my life. But I guess if it had to be different … I would have to say working on the more creative side of game development. I have a few ideas I would love to see as games. |
