The Important Stuff:Gamertag: snowcon3 The Nomination MailHey there TriXie, I just wanted to shoot you an email to say I would love for you to do an interview with moi for your gamer spotlight page. I have been a gamer since the age of 5 and am now 25, keepin' it "real" (as the kids so frequently say) with my 360. I think this would make for a very umm, interesting interview since my life up until now has been absolutely crazy. I used to be a professional shock rocker, network specialist, body piercer, boxer, and more. I know … I need to make up my damn mind already. Also, I think I'm one of the few "Live guys" with more tattoos on my body than games … and that's a lot. I am very much a vintage gamer as well, playing the NES almost as much as my 360. Well, hope to hear from you soon (insert flirtatious yet subtle innuendo here.), Much love and respect, P.S. gamer + girl = omg | Gamer Spotlight:TriXie Interviews snowcon3
He's a heavily tattooed gamer in North Carolina who builds computers and barfs a little when he eats snails. Say hello to snowcon3. TriXie: Just how many tats do you have? snowcon3: You know, I kinda lost count. It's hard to keep track of 'em all; but as of now I have both arms done, one on my neck, one across my back, one on each leg (big ones), two on my chest, and even my fingers are tattooed. My right knuckles have the word "coma" across them, while my left is adorned with the word "amen". TriXie: What's the story behind your gamertag? snowcon3: This one is kinda funny. I am obsessed with the Rocky series of films and have been since I was a kid. In Rocky II there's a scene where one of the press members asks Rocky what he will do with the money he gets from the Apollo fight and he replies "Well, I want to get a snowcone machine for Paulie, you like snowcones right Paulie?" TriXie: What's the worst or weirdest job you've ever had? snowcon3: Probably being a body piercer. As a piercer, you come across some the weirdest things ever; like 400 pound women who want me to pierce their belly buttons. Ew. Been there, done that. And we won't even talk about the ones "downstairs". TriXie: Do you have an arch enemy on Xbox Live? snowcon3: Oh you bet. ZEROCOOL1124761 and OmniRed. It's an ongoing war between us on Dead Or Alive®4, and OmniRed is actually my younger brother, which adds insult to injury every time he beats me. ZEROCOOL1124761 and I have been waging war since the day I hooked up my Xbox 360™. TriXie: What's your Xbox® set-up like? snowcon3: I love my current setup. I actually have my gaming PC and Xbox 360 hooked up to the same HD monitor, so not only do I play in HD but in ultra-high resolution as well. As for sound, I have my Xbox 360 running through my PC's Sound Blaster card and out to my 5.1 speakers. Pure gaming goodness. TriXie: What's the best feature of Xbox Live®? snowcon3: I adore the achievement system. I really think that it helps you get so much more out of your games, being that it really pushes you to go for that extra headshot or another online win. TriXie: What is your favorite offline Xbox game? snowcon3: I would definitely say Condemned: Criminal Origins™. A close runner up would be The Elder Scrolls® IV: Oblivion™. Condemned just gets my blood pumping. There's something awesome about beating a guy in the face with a paper cutter blade. TriXie: What do you think is the best game of all time? snowcon3: Double Dragon. Hands down. TriXie: What's the funniest thing you've ever heard on Xbox Live? snowcon3: I remember not too long ago making a kid cry on EA Sports™ Fight Night Round 3. I'm not kidding either. Full-fledged weeping. He was screaming and crying every time he was knocked down. I had to take off my headset and play it through the TV so my girlfriend Lauren (also an Xbox 360 gamer) could hear it. We both laughed our butts off at him. TriXie: What is your greatest Xbox Live moment? snowcon3: The first race I came in first on in MotoGP '06. That was really a benchmark moment for me. Those guys are great racers, and I never thought I would get there. TriXie:What would you like to see on Xbox.com? snowcon3: A printable coupon for 10 free Xbox 360 games of my choice. TriXie:What is a TV show that you never miss? snowcon3: Reno 911. I swear that's the greatest show to grace the airwaves, and I'm waiting patiently for season 4 to start next month! TriXie: What cartoon character do you think is most like you? snowcon3: Probably Cartman of South Park fame. He can switch between the nice and evil sides of himself on the fly, and can be very cunning and charming if need be. TriXie: You gotta respect his authoritaaay. What super power would you like to have? snowcon3: I know it's been said before, but invisibility. I would go to the most crowded place I could and just start "pants-ing" people left and right. How fun would that be? TriXie: What celebrity would be the worst roommate? snowcon3: Amy Lee of Evanescence. Nothing would ever get done because I would be drooling over her all day and trying to get her to go out with me. TriXie: Hot celeb you'd like to be stranded on a desert island with? snowcon3: Shakira. Yep, no doubt there. TriXie: Hips don't lie, baby! What do you predict will be the 'next big thing' in gaming? snowcon3: I have high hopes for the capabilities of the new Live Vision camera. I think though, with the right amount of time, Live Arcade will become a HUGE success; even bigger than it already is. Just wait until Street Fighter 2 comes out! Woo! TriXie: What do you think is the best thing about the Xbox 360? snowcon3: I love the operating system and the ability to link up with the PC. Now when I play I can listen to over 350 albums streamed from my other PC! TriXie: What was the first achievement you earned? snowcon3: 5 straight losses in DOA Online? (Laugh) The first one I got was actually for earning a trophy in the career mode of Fight Night. I remember seeing the little "bleep" at the bottom of the screen and thinking, "what the hell was that?" TriXie: What would you like to be doing in ten years? snowcon3: Sitting right here playing Fight Night Round 5 or Dead or Alive 6 on my new Xbox 720. |
