Hey TriXie, I would love to be interviewed for the gamer spotlight. I'm a high school student from New Orleans, Louisiana. I go to Isidore Newman School, the school where Payton, Eli, and Archie Manning went to. I've been on Xbox Live for about two years now and I'm greatly satisfied. I've seen Xbox Live's humble beginnings with games like Crimson Skies and Return to Castle Wolfenstein, both great games that were the source of many an all night game-a-thon, to Halo 2 (big surprise there).

Xbox Live on Xbox 360 is amazing and it's great that there are so many ways to expand it. Xbox Live is now a living breathing entity that can evolve exponentially. I've been an average gamer playing at my house in New Orleans, until Katrina forced our temporary exodus from the city that I love with all my heart. One of the brighter sides of this whole event was the support of my friends on Xbox Live. That one bit of normalcy helped me tremendously. Also, one of the benefits of having my room flooded was that I got a new TV setup (interview me to find out ... ). I can't wait to see what the future holds for Xbox Live. But I defiantly see good things.

Gamer Spotlight:

TriXie Interviews sharpshooter504

This gamer is currently living in Baton Rouge, but his real home is New Orleans where he was on the track and football teams at Isidore Newman High, the alma mater of Peyton, Eli, and Cooper Manning.

TriXie: What's the story behind your gamertag?

sharpshooter504: Well growing up in Louisiana, "the sportsman's paradise," I've been around hunting and shooting for most of my life. I got my first real gun when I was 8 and really haven't left the rifle range yet. So yeah, most people grow up collecting comics and baseball cards, I collected guns. So that's where I got the sharpshooter part and 504 is my area code.

TriXie: Tell us about your Katrina experience.

sharpshooter504: Well, I went to sleep after playing Halo® 2 'til about two a.m. Before going to bed I checked a weather website for an update on Katrina, it said that Katrina was going to Florida. I woke up the next day to find out that it was projected to be a Category Five and was heading for us, so we packed everything up. I tried saving everything I could by putting it on the second floor, and we packed for a few days took and drove to a friend's horse farm in Folsom, Louisiana. We had a generator to power the well pump, fridge, satellite TV, and a few fans. So we were a lot better off than most. We kept our eyes glued to the news and watched as my hometown was flooded and looted. We then got a house in Baton Rouge and have been living here ever since.

TriXie: How long have you been on Xbox Live®?

sharpshooter504: I've been on Xbox Live since 2001, playing mainly Crimson Skies®: High Road to Revenge™, and Return to Castle Wolfenstein, until Halo 2 and Rainbow Six: Lockdown came out.

TriXie: What's your Xbox® setup like?

sharpshooter504: I've got a 34-inch Sony Wega with component inputs (not the best TV in the world but it works great for me), but I do have a 1000 Watt Dolby Digital 7.1 Sound system that works great.

TriXie: What's the best feature of Xbox Live?

sharpshooter504: I like the fact that it's a living, breathing thing that evolves.

TriXie: What do you think is the best game of all time?

sharpshooter504: I'm going to have to say Tetris. It's everywhere, and if I'm bored I can always play a game on my computer or Game Boy.

TriXie: What do you think is the best film of all time?

sharpshooter504: Oh it's a three-way tie between Raiders of the Lost Ark, Pulp Fiction, and Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.

TriXie: What's the funniest thing you've ever heard on Xbox Live?

sharpshooter504: Having a guy on my team fall asleep in the middle of a Team Slayer match in Halo 2; we could hear him snoring when we were close to him.

TriXie: What is your greatest Xbox Live moment?

sharpshooter504: Playing a Team Slayer match in Halo 2 on Zanzibar, me and my friend were the only ones left after our teammates quit out because we were down 30 to 15 with 8 minutes to go. I got the rockets and climbed into the back of the Gauss Hog. We won 50 to 31 I got an Overkill and two Killtaculars.

TriXie: Nice! What's your favorite TV show?

sharpshooter504: I never miss an episode of Mythbusters.

TriXie: What's your karaoke song?

sharpshooter504: "House of the Rising Sun," by the Animals.

TriXie: Great song. What cartoon character do you think is most like you?

sharpshooter504: Pongo from 101 Dalmatians.

TriXie: If you could trade places with anyone for one day, who would it be?

sharpshooter504: I would have liked to trade places with Walt Disney.

TriXie: What celebrity would be the worst roommate?

sharpshooter504: Fran Dresher. Having to deal with that annoying high-pitched voice on a day to day basis would drive me to insanity.

TriXie: What hot celeb would you like to be stranded on a desert island with?

sharpshooter504: Charlize Theron, not only is she beautiful, but she's smart and would help out with stuff like keeping the signal fire burning.

TriXie: Who's cooler: Sam Fisher, Leisure Suit Larry, or Master Chief?

sharpshooter504: Master Chief. He's much cooler than Leisure Suit Larry and could kick Sam Fisher's Ass

TriXie: Plus he can keep a signal fire burning. What's the worst food you've ever eaten?

sharpshooter504: Mee Krob, the nastiest Thai food someone would ever want to eat

TriXie: What do you predict will be the "next big thing" in gaming?

sharpshooter504: Total Immersion Gameplay, where you feel like you're inside the game

TriXie: What would you like to be doing in ten years?

sharpshooter504: Owning a theme park.

TriXie: Ooh me too! I could ride the roller coasters all day long at TriXie World! What do you think is the best thing about Xbox 360?

sharpshooter504: Great design, great games, Xbox Live, and Marketplace.

TriXie: So … pretty much everything. Thanks Sharp!
