Team Dysfunctional Nemesis Takes a California Vacation

They met two years ago playing Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon™,became fast friends, and decided to meet up for some sun, fun, and golf in May. Yes, while I worked my heiney off at E3,Importkiller87 from Medford, Oregon;Bigozig1 from Flushing, Michigan; Rembrthe Alamo from Mansfield, Texas; souperboyfrom Aumsville, Oregon; and nsarisk from Austin, Texas were swinging, putting, and lollygagging at Universal Studios and Knott's Berry Farm. Although their hotel was located across the street from a strip club named Just a Kiss Away, we'll just give them the benefit of the doubt that they were good little lads. Here's a report from Team Dysfunctional Nemesis on their getaway.

Our trip took place May 15-21 all over San Diego and Los Angeles. The highlights were golfing and staying the night at the Aviara Four Seasons Resort; Universal Studios; Knott's Berry Farm; and the midnight opening of Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith.

Meeting in person at the golf course Aviara that we played on Xbox Live® in Links® 2004 was an awesome experience and we really look forward to doing it again. When we play golf on Xbox Live, the best player is considered a tie between souperboy and Alamo because souperboy held first place in skins for three months and Alamo has nine holes in one, then nsarisk, then bigozig1. But when we played at Aviara the best was bigozig1, then nsarisk, then souperboy, then importkiller87, and then Alamo. Alamo won the booby prize for coming in last place and received the Dysfunctional Nemesis pink ball with all our autographs on it.

We had a whole week of going from place to place in our rental, so Alamo, our driver, thinks he should change his Gamertag to U-Turn after having four of his teammates trying to read the map and give directions which meant we overshot our destination every time. You know as well as we do, guys don't pull over and ask for directions. We would like to change nsarisk's Gamertag to Stevie Wonder because of his inability to read a map and getting us lost everywhere we went. Just ask U-Turn about it.

Souperboy's wife told him he was not allowed to go to Disneyland without her, but when we got to our hotel that she booked for us it was conveniently located across from a strip club called Just a Kiss Away … We were not sure what to think about that.

Making this trip and meeting everyone takes our Xbox Liveexperience to what Xbox® should be all about: meeting new people and making friends in different places all over the world and having one hell of a gaming time while doing it!

As souperboy sometimes says before a game starts, "Keep your hands and feet inside at all times, no glitching, no bitching, and enjoy the ride."
