TriXie interviews the Frag Dolls
The Frag Dolls are Ubisoft's posse of seven gamer chicks that are currently touring around, playing games, and whoppin' some major ass. They made an appearance at the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle, Wash., recently and blew away all the competition. These dames were recruited not only for their good looks—though that never hurts—but also because they're seriously dedicated gamers out to compete and show folks they are just as good, if not better, than a lot of the guys out there. Their relationship with Ubisoft is very much like a sports sponsorship: Ubisoft gives them the opportunity to travel and play games and tournaments that they may not have been able to participate in otherwise.

The Frag Dolls: Eekers FD, Seppuku FD, Jinx FD, Rhoulette FD, BrookeLyn FD, Katscratch FD, Valkyrie FD.
I asked Michael Beadle, Ubisoft's public relations dude, what the reaction among male gamers has been to the Dolls. "When they first saw them, they were kind of ogling them, but when the Frag Dolls started playing, the guys thought, 'These girls are okay.' Then, when the guys got the living crap beat out of them, they started worshipping the Frag Dolls."
If you want to read up on their adventures, check competition updates, and follow the team online, visit their Web site at www.fragdolls.com.

BrookeLyn's inner rock star is Perry Ferrell.
BrookeLyn
TriXie: What's the best game of all time?
BrookeLyn: There’s no doubt in my mind:Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six® 3.
TriXie: What's your greatest gaming moment?
BrookeLyn: I would have to say winning theTom Clancy’s Rainbow Six® 3 Black Arrow™ tournament at PAX [Penny Arcade Expo]. It felt so awesome!
TriXie: Who's hotter: Sam Fisher, Ding Chavez, or Master Chief?
BrookeLyn: Sam Fisher, baby! Now that is one sexy spy.
TriXie: If they made a movie about your life, who should play you?
BrookeLyn: Angelina Jolie. She's hot, and I love her as an actress. I definitely think she would play me well, considering she is such a risk taker.
TriXie: If you could trade places with anyone for one day, who would it be?
BrookeLyn: Probably Jennifer Aniston. I would love to know what Brad Pitt is like behind closed doors.
TriXie: What celebrity would be the worst roommate?
BrookeLyn: Ashlee Simpson. If I have to hear one more of her songs, I think I’m going to puke.
TriXie: "On a Monday, I am waiting, Tuesday I am … " Hey! Don't get any on me, girl!

Jinx thinks Brak is the cartoon most like her.
Jinx
TriXie: What's your greatest gaming moment?
Jinx: Well, I really like LAN parties, so anytime I go to one of those, it’s a highlight. The best ever, though, was the week thatBattlefield 1942 came out. My friends held the party, so I went, and of course, there were other people there that I didn’t know. They assumed I was there as someone’s girlfriend. Poor guys. I topped the rankings in that game during the entire weekend and really shook them up. They couldn’t understand what was happening—and why none of them could kill me. That was my bulletproof weekend. Best. LAN. Ever.
TriXie: Who's hotter: Sam Fisher, Ding Chavez, or Master Chief?
Jinx: Sam Fisher. There’s just something about a guy who can snap necks while hanging from pipes, neutralize mercenaries before they know what’s hit them, and get away undetected after accomplishing his objective. I have to give it to him … that takes serious style.
TriXie: What cartoon character do you think is most like you?
Jinx: Brak, from the appropriately named “The Brak Show.” During one episode he has to go back in time to un-invent homework because he spent too much time playing video games and didn’t get anything else done. Yeah, that’s me. I have a nose, though, which is nice.
TriXie: Yeah, Michael Jackson's really missing out. What super power would you like to have?
Jinx: I’d like to have the ability to not sleep. I imagine there are nobler super powers I could want, like the ability to bring peace to the world, but that’s so boringly ideal. The idea of not having to sleep makes me all giddy. Think of all the extra time I’d have!
TriXie: What celebrity would be the worst roommate?
Jinx: Well, for starters, I would never want to room with Milla Jovovich. I know she plays games, too, so she’d hog the consoles! I can’t have that. We’d definitely have to have two sets and two TVs. Then, it would be ok.

Katscratch plays games 50 hours a week!
Katscratch
TriXie: What's the best game of all time?
Katscratch: Texas Hold 'em.
TriXie: What do you think is the best album of all time?
Katscratch: U2's The Joshua Tree or Nine Inch Nails' Pretty Hate Machine.
TriXie: Who's hotter: Sam Fisher, Ding Chavez, or Master Chief?
Katscratch: Sam Fisher all the way. All those stealth moves build a great body.
TriXie: If they made a movie about your life, who should play you?
Katscratch: Cory Feldman.
TriXie: What’s your karaoke song?
Katscratch: "Total Eclipse of the Heart," complete with backup singers.
TriXie: What super power would you like to have?
Katscratch: Wonder Woman’s Truth Lasso.
TriXie: If you could trade places with anyone for one day, who would it be?
Katscratch: I would be George W. Bush and announce I would not be running for reelection.
TriXie: I think I love you. What celebrity would be the worst roommate?
Katscratch: Depending on how you define “celebrity," Pauly Shore without a doubt.

Rhoulette thinks Jessica would be the worst roomie.
Rhoulette
TriXie: What’s the story behind your Gamertag?
Rhoulette: I wanted a kick-butt name that might be good for a female superhero. So, I combined Rogue and Gambit from the X-Men in my head and came up with Rhoulette. It’s appropriately dangerous, feminine, and even makes a vague reference to my curly hair.
TriXie: What's the best game of all time?
Rhoulette: Samba de Amigo.
TriXie: Ah, the late, lamented Dreamcast. What's your greatest gaming moment?
Rhoulette: Becoming one of the first Empresses inShadowbane.

TriXie: What’s the story behind your Gamertag?

TriXie: What celebrity would be the worst roommate?
Sepukku: Courtney Love.

Sepukku: Green Day.

The worst thing Valkyrie ate: pickled pig's feet.
Valkyrie
TriXie: What's the best game of all time?
Valkyrie: Halo as of now and shortlyHalo® 2, as I got to demo it at PAX. But, I have defiantly spent more time on the Rainbow Six 3series, so I can’t discount that I love those games as well!
TriXie: How many hours a day or week do you spend gaming?
Valkyrie: I usually spend around 30 to 40 hours a week on some game or another, usually in matches, practice, or work.
TriXie: What's your greatest gaming moment?
Valkyrie: Probably the FDs winning the Black Arrow tourney at PAX in front of a big audience. It was our first competition as a team, and I couldn’t have been more thrilled.
TriXie: Who's hotter: Sam Fisher, Ding Chavez, or Master Chief?
Valkyrie: Well, as I have already seen Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell® 3 and was drooling over Sam’s chiseled physique and handsome face, I will say him. Who really knows what Master Chief really looks like under there … He could be a pimpled faced, steroids freak, after all.
TriXie: Blaspheme! Who is your inner rock star like?
Valkyrie: Cyndi Lauper, baby, 'cause us girls just want to have F-U-N!
TriXie: What’s your karaoke song?
Valkyrie: "Ice, Ice, Baby." Yep, I admit it. I know all the words, and I think it's as funny as you get.
TriXie: What cartoon character do you think is most like you?
Valkyrie: Sad to say this from a girl’s perspective, but Lisa Simpson. She is intelligent, articulate, and as big a geek as I am.
TriXie: What super power would you like to have?
Valkyrie: Telepathy, so I can really see if I am as paranoid as I think I am.
TriXie: Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you. What celebrity would be the worst roommate?
Valkyrie: Carrot Top or Corey Feldman—they both would drive me nuts.

TriXie: You too? Best gaming moment of your life?

Calyber: I ate a plate of fish eyeballs, octopus tentacles, squid, raw ginger, raw shrimp, sea weed and other nasty things for a Fear Factor-like game on a cruise I took to Mexico. The worst part was I didn't even win. Oh, and throwing it up; that sucked.
