Harry Potter Years 1-5 Limited Edition Gift Set
Harry Potter needs no introduction. From Beijing to Berlin, the magician and his friends have seriously taken over the minds and hearts of people of all ages. I have to admit … I haven't read a single Harry Potter book, but the movies are pretty sweet. For the Harry Potter fanatics in your life, this gift set releasing December 11 will send them into bliss. The set includes special packaging, two-disc editions of all the Harry Potter movies 1 through 5, an interactive DVD game, collectible bookmarks, trading cards, and over two hours of special content.

Battlestar Galactica (Season One)
Billions of human lives have been annihilated by intelligent robots in a nuclear war. Led by the Battlestar Galactica and the newly appointed president Laura Roslin, the remaining survivors have fled to deep space and started a journey to find a mythical planet called Earth. The television series launches into its fourth season in January 2008 on the Sci-Fi channel, but its first season will be available in HD DVD starting December 4. Personally, I'm going to buy this one for myself and spend a weekend watching it nonstop.

Bladerunner (Collector's Edition)
Directed by Ridley Scott, who also directed Gladiator and American Gangster, Bladerunner takes place in Los Angeles 2019 and stars Harrison Ford as Rick Deckard, a "blade runner" (aka an assassin) who is assigned to "retire" four "replicants." Created with genetic engineering, "replicants" are a new type of human used for slave labor who have started a deadly revolt. Available December 18, the high-definition collector's edition of Bladerunner includes Scott's Final Cut, three additional versions, a workprint version, a feature-length documentary called "Dangerous Days," and bonus content that includes never-before-seen deleted scenes.

Planet Earth: The Complete BBC Series
High definition is great for bringing all the cool digital effects and action to the small screen, but it's even better at bringing mind-boggling pictures of the real world right into your own living room. Filmed over five years and across 200 locations, BBC's Planet Earth series brings a truly stunning look at the most astonishing creatures, locations and experiences that occur across the planet. It's so well created and beautiful that you'll want to watch the entire 530 minutes over and over again.

Heroes (Season One)
We've all heard the message: Save the cheerleader. Save the World. In NBC's Heroes, a bunch of seemingly ordinary humans discover they have extraordinary abilities, only to find out that they need to band together to save the world. The season one HD DVD is so jam packed with exclusive content that even someone who's watched all the episodes will be entertained with the extra goodies.

The Bourne Trilogy: The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, and The Bourne Ultimatum
Based on the best-selling book The Bourne Identity, the movie series revolves around Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) who is a CIA assassin with complete memory loss. With no knowledge of his identity, job, and family, Bourne travels around the world to put the pieces together. While franchises can sometimes get worse with each new movie (Spiderman anyone?), the Bourne series just got better with each new release. Damon, who did some serious training for the role, is the perfect Bourne and the part highlights his versatility as an actor.
