Newsflash:Mötley Crüe Releases Single for Rock BandPublished April 15, 2008 Heavy metal band Mötley Crüe has become the first band to release a brand-new song as a playable track in the popular Rock Band™ game. Their new single "Saints of Los Angeles," is available for a limited time at a special price of 80 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE® Marketplace.
Now you can try playing like Vince Neil or Mick Mars. The downloadable Rock Band track utilizes the master recording of the title track from the band's newest album, scheduled to release July 8. Known for their uncompromising hardcore sound on such best-selling albums as Shout at the Devil and Dr. Feelgood, it has been eight years since the last Mötley Crüe album, and it's fair to say that fans have been eagerly anticipating the release. With the addition of this track to the Rock Band library, there are now more than 80 tracks available for download in addition to the 58 tracks in the original game.
