Last month we brought you friends management for My Xbox®. A lot of you wrote in to tell us thanks for giving you the ability to send, receive, accept, and reject friend requests on Xbox.com (see sidebar). But some of you weren't shy about wanting even more. Many of you wrote in with messages similar to this: "Friends management is great, but the thing people actually want is to be able to send messages from their computer (just an idea). Keep up the good work." In our unending quest to give our Xbox Live® members more of what they are asking for, we hereby unveil the My Xbox Message Center. Exactly what you've been requesting! Here's the story on the coolness that is Message Center.
My Xbox Lead Program Manager Clinton Tonic Fowler had this to say about the new features: "Last month we brought you friends management and promised we were working 24/7 to bring even cooler stuff. So this month, the team put it into high gear and we present to you Message Center and recent players. "When we shipped friends management last month, we heard the community of gamers loud and clear. They were all asking for message center.We're stoked to deliver it this month and think it'll help bring gamers together to schedule game sessions, fuel the casual rivalry, and, with E3 right around the corner, discuss the slew of games coming to Xbox 360.
