How can I be in the Gamer Spotlight?
Xbox Community Ambassadors who hit Level 13 in the Ambassador program are guaranteed a Gamer Spotlight feature. If you're NOT an Ambassador, send us a nomination email (nominating yourself or someone else who loves Xbox) at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject "Gamer Spotlight." You don’t need to have a certain gamerscore and you don’t have to live in the United States. You DO need to be at least 13 years old. We get thousands of nominations every week, so make your email stand out: tell us about the cool or interesting things you do when you’re not gaming. Do you have a crazy job or unusual hobby? Let us know! We’ll get in touch with you if we think you would make a good interview subject. Good luck!
By participating, you agree that information you provide can be used by Xbox in Gamer Spotlight publicity.
What do you do when you're not playing games?
Working at my full-time job, volunteering for FraggedNation.com or working on my Bachelor’s Degree in Game Art & Design.
What's the worst or weirdest job you've ever had?
McDonald’s. I swear, don’t do it.
What is your greatest Xbox LIVE moment?
My greatest Xbox LIVE moment is by far from Call of Duty 4 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. My clan came up with some AMAZING tactics for public games, one of which we called RocketMan. I won’t go into details on it. (Hey, I can’t give away ALL of my clan secrets.) But, once you experience the wrath of RocketMan, it is a moment you will never forget. :D
If you could be any video game character, who would it be?
One of my Sims 3 characters. For them, life is so simple. I want that kind of life.
What's the worst food you've ever eaten?
Sauerkraut. I absolutely hate it. I have horrible memories from my ex-stepfather mixing it into a bowl of mashed potatoes and saying it was just normal mashed potatoes. Needless to say, the bowl was an awful concoction that got thrown back at him. Literally.
If you could go on tour with any band—past or present—which would it be?
I would definitely have to say Fun. They are fairly new, but definitely some great music coming from them. I keep finding myself singing along with them every time I hear them on the radio.
What would you like to be doing in ten years?
Working for Microsoft Game Studios. I am working on my Bachelor’s in Game Art & Design and looking to also get Graphic Design and Game Programming Bachelor’s Degrees.
