How can I be in the Gamer Spotlight?
Xbox Community Ambassadors who hit Level 13 in the Ambassador program are guaranteed a Gamer Spotlight feature. If you're NOT an Ambassador, send us a nomination email (nominating yourself or someone else who loves Xbox) at gamerspotlight@microsoft.com with the subject "Gamer Spotlight." You don’t need to have a certain gamerscore and you don’t have to live in the United States. You DO need to be at least 13 years old. We get thousands of nominations every week, so make your email stand out: tell us about the cool or interesting things you do when you’re not gaming. Do you have a crazy job or unusual hobby? Let us know! We’ll get in touch with you if we think you would make a good interview subject. Good luck!
By participating, you agree that information you provide can be used by Xbox in Gamer Spotlight publicity.
Interview
What do you do when you're not playing games?
I am usually at class since I am in college, singing along with a song on YouTube, watching CSI, Law & Order SVU, NCIS, or any other criminal shows like those. I am a Criminal Justice major.
What's the worst or weirdest job you've ever had?
Weirdest is delivering the newspaper when I was 14. Not because it's weird to do that but because if I didn't put this one guy’s paper in the exact spot that he wanted it (it was like five inches away) he followed me once I got close by his house just to make sure it was in the "correct" spot. It was so creepy.
Favorite movie quote?
"Fin, Noggin, Dude!" by Squirt in Finding Nemo.
If you could be any video game character, who would it be?
Master Chief.
What's the worst food you've ever eaten?
Calamari.
If you could go on tour with any band—past or present—which would it be?
Brad Paisley and his band.
What would you like to be doing in ten years?
I would hope to be a homicide detective, but I know I might still be a blue.
