Xbox GamerchiX: Over 1,000 Women Strong!What began with a forum post "Looking for Xbox GamerchiX" has, in seven short months, become a thriving group of over one thousand gamer girls in twenty countries. Members include lifelong gamers as well as women who are very new to video games. Monday nights are Ladies Nights on Xbox LIVE® and the 'chiX have a great time trying new games, polishing their skills, chatting, and laughing. "The rapid growth of Xbox GamerchiX is a testament to Xbox 360's appeal to more than just the hardcore gamer. It shows the Xbox Community is not just a boys club. Women are social by nature, and the wide range of content available, plus a five million member community, makes Xbox 360 THE social game console," said Jeff Bell, Corporate VP of Global Marketing, Interactive Entertainment Business. A trip to the Women's Game Conference in 2005 was the
