| | Published October 6, 2006 Day Three at World Cyber Games was all about the lay-deez. We had a Women in Gaming Symposium, a Rollergirls versus GamerchiX Guitar Hero™ III showdown, and more. There were lots o' dudes here, but they weren't doing anything all that interesting … besides competing in the Olympics of gaming!
The GamerchiX had a banner day today, signing up hundreds of new members and giving away buckets of pink T-shirts. Here are some hardworking volunteer booth 'chiX: l-r chrissylas306, coraltoe, PMS Kitty, Mulderesque, KilaM0Mjaro. Not pictured: The Don Wan, Mocha Jive, and Cayote.
I also attended the Women in Gaming Symposium and even spoke a little at the end. This is Cindy on the left. She's the CEO of Global Wonder Entertainment and she put this whole thing together. At the right is Tara Brannigan who is a Program Manager at Microsoft Game Studios.
I got an interview request from these two awesome dudes (Steve, left and Brian) from HollywoodJesus.com, a site that looks at pop culture from a Christian perspective. I managed not to drop the f-bomb during the entire interview. Yay me!
Then the GamerchiX challenged the Rat City Rollergirls to a battle in Seattle on Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. The GamerchiX were most triumphant.
I have had very little sleep, caffeine or food in the last three days, so I was getting a little bit wacky. Check the video if this photo of me yelling with a rat isn't convincing enough.
Well what's this? It's my very own mommy who came down to Qwest Field to hang out and sign up more GamerchiX. She's awesome. I wuv her. TriX out. |
