TriXie's Travels: New York, Day Two

On Sunday, it was back to the Time Warner building in Columbus Circle.

Video Monkey at Time Warner

Video Monkey took a short break to pose for a picture outside. Inside it was all Gears of War®, baby!

PMS H2o

Team PMS/H2o was the competition's only co-ed team. They got knocked out by vBi, but they were great sports, and it's always good to see women playing in the big leagues.

vBi and vBi 2  vBi and vBi 2

The vBi in Team vBi stands for "Violent by Instinct." These guys were great. Half of their team was last minute replacements, they don't have a coach or fancy headsets, but they managed to kick ass, put some fear in MoB Turtle Beach, and came in second place.

Team MoB Turtle Beach are always fun to watch. Their coach MoB GODFATH3R paced behind them yelling encouragement like "Come on baby, we came here to WIN!" and keeping the guys fired up when vBi was putting some temporary hurt on them. "Shake it off, and take it up a notch!" His tactics worked: MoB Turtle Beach was victorious!

Con and Trixie

The US Open was open to the public and Conartistic, one of our wonderful Xbox Ambassadors, came by to check out the action.

Pete and Trixie

Turtle Beach not only sponsors MoB Turtle Beach, they make some damn fine gaming headsets. Pete from Turtle Beach was there to cheer on his team.

Times Square in the rain

The US Open didn't hold any surprise upsets, but it was fun to see the games, competition, the ultra cool Phillips AmbX, and the gorgeous TVs from Samsung. By the time it was all over, the rain was falling. This is the view of Times Square from my rainy window.

TriX out.
