America 's top gamers converged at the Samsung Experience in New York City May 31 and June 1 for the World Cyber Games 2008 U.S. Open video game tournament. Top American gamers competed in Xbox 360® titles such as Halo® 3, Project Gotham Racing® 4, Guitar Hero® III: Legends of Rock, Need for Speed™ ProStreet and Virtua Fighter® 5. The two-day competition kicked off the American leg of the WCG USA 2008 championship series which will culminate with the WCG Grand Finals this November in Cologne, Germany.
