The WCG is the premier international tournament in all of competitive video gaming, otherwise known as eSports. In a format similar to that of the Olympics, players compete year-round in national qualifying tournaments that all conclude at the WCG Grand Final, where the best in the world will earn the title of World Champion. The 2008 WCG Grand Final takes place in Cologne, Germany, in November. Xbox and Games for Windows are Premier Sponsors of the World Cyber Games.
