After reading the article about the couple meeting on the original Xbox in Halo® 2, I thought I would share my own experience of romance on Xbox LIVE®. I was introduced to Gears of War® by my brother CincyQuake and I immediately fell in love with the game.
The day after Christmas 2006, I went out and bought Xbox 360® and Gears of War. Less then a month went by and I was playing the game when I joined a room on the map War Machine, and this is where I met him … HELLFLYER88. We talked through chat on Xbox LIVE, shared video chat with the Vision camera, and even chatted on the phone.

In November 2007, he came from Chicago, Illinois to Cincinnati, Ohio to meet me. To say the least … things went off great! We spent the holidays together, and I must say they were the greatest holidays I have ever had in all my life. We went to visit each other, and we plan on moving in together and getting married. I never would have thought I would have met the one I have always been waiting for on Xbox LIVE, but that's where I found him!
Love can be found anywhere, sometimes when you least expect it.
