Tuesday afternoon, October 23, Xbox® hosted a big party celebrating family fun in the form of the new Xbox 360™ Arcade console. What better place to host a party for families than Toys R Us? Radio Disney was there too, keeping the kids hopping, playing and hula-hooping for hours.
Our old pal Devastator was there. He's an Xbox Ambassador and 'The Master Chief armor dude.' He left the costume at home, but popped in on his lunch hour to say high. His son is only 18 months old, but likes to play around with Dad's Xbox 360 controller.
Nicole Wagner, whose gamertag is … wait for it … Nicole Wagner took a ninety minute train ride just to come check out the new Arcade console and meet up with some fellow GamerchiX!
I don't know if these lads were supposed to be in school, but they played all the games, did all the Toys R Us dances and were the life of the party!
Hey that's wombat 5277 from Cheapassgamer.com! He also came over on his lunch hour, and he won the Best Dressed Award that I gave out inside my head.
One of my favorite 'chiX is LadyBluEyes. She's the ultimate in cool moms. Not only does she play games, but she let three of her five kids play hooky from school to come into the city and hang out at Toys R Us. She's a great example of how much fun parents and kids can have together with Xbox 360 … even without skipping school!
