Thursday evening, out by the pool at the Hotel New Otani Makuhari, Xbox and Games for Windows threw a bash for the international press and community.

Featured at the event were Japanese celebrities including Dragon Ash, Go-ban Asakusa Kid, Roku-ban, and America Zarigani. They played Bomberman Live and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six® Vegas on Xbox LIVE®.

Hosting the event was Shigeo Tatsumi, the Major Nelson of Japan. That's him in the Halo® 3 T-shirt. I couldn't understand what he was saying, but it may have been "Let's be clear."

Standing from left to right: Anoop Gantayat, Fran Mirabella of the IGN video team, and David Clayman of IGN Insider. Clearly, David is the party boy of the three.
Hey, that's CheapyD from cheapassgamer.com! He recently took the Kotaku Brians and our own Chris Paladino to a sumo match.

Gamerscoreblogger Chris Paladino and Flynn DeMarco from Kotaku and GayGamer.net argue over what exactly is in the "macaroni and cheese."

Dale North and Nick Chester from Destructoid tried to stir up trouble.

Adam Sessler from G4's X-Play was there for the fun. Here he is with Games for Windows guru Michael "Phoenix" Wolf.

Xbox Japan boss Takashi Sensui gets the infamous Itagaki-san from Team Ninja to say a few words to the guests. It was great to spend some time with the community in Tokyo.
