Xbox Live Memory Unit Monday Sweepstakes

1. Eligibility / Entry Period:
Open to legal residents of the 50 United States (includes the District of Columbia) who are, 13 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Microsoft Corporation and any person engaged to work on this promotional program and their respective affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, promotion, advertising and promotional agencies and each of their immediate family members (including mother, father, sister, brother, child, husband or wife) and those living in their households are not eligible to enter or win.
Entry for each Monday promotion starts at 12:01 AM PT on Monday and ends at 11:59 PM PT on Monday. Each monthly drawing consists of entries received during four consecutive Mondays. The sweepstakes may be discontinued following any monthly drawing.
2. How To Enter:
There are two ways to enter each drawing; online or via US mail.
To enter online, a player must have access to an Xbox 360 game system and be an Xbox Live subscriber in good standing (any level). Once you are a subscriber, log-on to Xbox Live on your Xbox 360 system, play any Xbox 360 games on Xbox Live every Monday and unlock as many achievements as you can. For Silver subscribers, 1 achievement = 1 entry. For Gold Subscribers: 1 achievement = 2 entries. The achievement must be unlocked while logged into Xbox Live.
To enter any of the drawings by mail without playing an Xbox Live game, hand-print your name, address, city, state, ZIP code, phone number and e-mail address (if any) on a 3x5 piece of paper and mail to:

Mail entries must be received by the Friday following any Monday’s play to be included in that weekend’s drawing. Mail in entries received after the Friday following any weekend will be included in the following Monday’s drawing.
Limit total : 24 entries per person per Monday regardless of entry method.
Entries from the same individual or email address received in excess of the limits stated above will be automatically disqualified. The use of automated devices to enter Sweepstakes is prohibited. No responsibility is assumed by Microsoft for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, postage due or illegible entries or any computer, online telephone, or technical malfunctions that may occur. All entries become the property of Microsoft and will not be returned.
3. Winner Selection/Prizes:
Weekly drawing : On or around the Friday following each Monday’s play, (10) winners will be chosen in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received to win one of the following prizes:
- (1) Memory Unit (64MB) including a custom case and keychain (estimated retail value $40)
Monthly drawing : On or around the Friday following every four consecutive Monday’s, (2) winners will be chosen in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received in the previous four weeks to win 2000 Xbox Live Microsoft Points (estimated value $25).
Random drawings will be conducted under the supervision of Microsoft, whose decisions are final. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Limit one prize per person, household or e-mail address every 3 months. No substitution, transfer, or assignment of prize permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event an offered prize is unavailable. Taxes on the prizes are solely the responsibility of the winner. Any and all guarantees and warranties for merchandise prizes are subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions, and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty or guarantee claim.
All potential winners will be posted on the Xbox.com Play & Win webpage [www.xbox.com/en-US/community/news/events/playandwin/mumondays.htm]. To claim a prize, players must check the Play & Win webpage to see if they’re listed as a winner. If listed, the player must send a friend request to “LiveMUMonday”. Once verified, the player will receive a message viewable in their friends list (can be viewed on their Xbox 360 console or at http://live.xbox.com/en-US/profile/Friends.aspx). Prizes will then ship to their Xbox Live billing address (or address printed on the 3x5 card) within 4 – 6 weeks.
4. General Conditions:
Sweepstakes entrants agree to abide by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions of Microsoft which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Winner will be notified within seven (7) days after the drawing date. Winner may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within seven (7) days following the date of attempted notification. Non compliance within this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Return of any prize/ prize notification as undeliverable or failure to accept prize within the specified time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Entrants further grant to Microsoft the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print in any other media in connection with the Sweepstakes. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Microsoft to use winner's names and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. By entering, participants release and hold harmless Microsoft, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this Sweepstakes or any prize won.
5. Internet:
If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Microsoft which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Microsoft reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes. I n any such event, Microsoft, at its discretion, will select the winner(s) from eligible non-suspect entries received prior to the event requiring such termination, suspension or cancellation. Microsoft assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Microsoft is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by Microsoft on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GAME IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH CONTESTANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Entries made by Internet will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
6. Winners List:
The names of the winners will be posted online after the following Monday of each week at http://www.xbox.com/en-US/community/events/playandwin/mumondays.htm.
