By entering the Xbox LIVE & Alltel Texas Hold 'em Play and Win Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes"), you agree to abide by these Official Rules and any other terms and conditions referenced in these Official Rules.
1. Eligibility
This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States (includes the District of Columbia) who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Microsoft Corporation , Alltel Wireless ("Alltel") and any person engaged to work on this promotional program and their respective affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies and each of their immediate family members (including mother, father, sister, brother, child, husband or wife) and those living in their households are not eligible to enter or win.
2. Entry Period
This Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 A.M. Pacific Time (PT) on June 15, 2007, and ends at 11:59 P.M. PT on July 12, 2007 (the "Entry Period").Winners will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
3. How to Participate.
There are two (2) ways to enter: online or via US mail.
To enter online, you must have access to an Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system and the full retail version of the Texas Hold 'em Xbox LIVE Arcade video game and be an Xbox LIVE Gold Subscriber in good standing. Once you have verified that you meet these system requirements, you must do all of the following:
(1) Register for the Sweepstakes online at https://reg.msgamestudios.com/default.aspx?site=AlltelPokerChallenge during the Entry Period. (NOTE: You must register on this web site using the same Xbox LIVE Gamertag that you will use to play Texas Hold 'em multiplayer sessions on Xbox LIVE. Please be sure that your Xbox LIVE account information including e-mail address, mailing address and phone is correct and current.)
(2) During any or all of the Entry Periods, log-on to Xbox LIVE on a Xbox 360 system and play a Texas Hold 'em multiplayer session.
You will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes for each day during the Entry Period that you log into Xbox LIVE on a Xbox 360 system and play a Texas Hold 'em multiplayer session. NOTE: For purposes of these Official Rules, a day starts at 12:01 a.m. PT and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT.
To enter by U.S. mail without registering online or receiving entries by playing a Texas Hold 'em multiplayer session, hand-print your first and last name, Gamertag, address, city, state, ZIP code, phone number and e-mail address (if any) on a 3x5 piece of paper and mail to:

Limit one (1) entry per outer envelope. To be entered into the Sweepstakes, mail-in entries must be postmarked by July 13, 2007, and received by July 19, 2007.
Entry Limit: One (1) entry per person per day, for up to twenty-eight (28) entries per person per Gamertag total, regardless of the entry method. Entries from the same individual or email address received in excess of the limits stated above will be automatically disqualified.
The use of automated devices to enter this Sweepstakes is prohibited. No responsibility is assumed by Microsoft for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, postage due or illegible entries or any computer, online telephone, or technical malfunctions that may occur. All entries become the property of Microsoft and will not be returned.
4. Winner Selection / Notification / Prizes
On or around July 29, 2007, 100 potential winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received to win one (1) of the following prizes:
Four (4) Grand Prizes: An Xbox 360 Elite Console and 1600 Microsoft Points (Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $499.99)
Thirty-six (36) First Prizes: A set of 300 poker chips and case, (ARV:$43)
Sixty (60) Second Prizes:1600 Microsoft points (ARV: $20)
ARV of all prizes: $4,747.96
All random drawings will be conducted under the supervision of Microsoft, whose decisions are final. Alltel is not responsible for the collection, submission or processing of entries, the administration of the Sweepstakes, or the selection of winners. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Limit one prize per person, household and/or e-mail address. No substitution, transfer, or assignment of prize permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event an offered prize is unavailable. Taxes on the prizes are solely the responsibility of the winner. Any and all guarantees and warranties for merchandise prizes are subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions, and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty or guarantee claim.
6. General Conditions
Sweepstakes entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Microsoft which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Winner will be notified within fourteen (14) days after the drawing date by email and/or telephone. Winner may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within seven (7) days following the date of attempted notification. Non-compliance within this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Return of any prize / prize notification as undeliverable or failure to accept prize within the specified time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Prizes will be delivered within eight (8) weeks of winner confirmation. Entrants further grant to Microsoft the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print in any other media in connection with this Sweepstakes. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Microsoft to use winner's names and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. By entering, participants release and hold harmless Microsoft, Alltel and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this Sweepstakes or the use or misuse of any prize won.
7. Internet
If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Microsoft which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Microsoft reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Sweepstakes. I n any such event, Microsoft, at its discretion, will select the winner(s) from eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the event requiring such termination, suspension or cancellation. Microsoft assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Microsoft is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by Microsoft on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in connection with this Sweepstakes.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Entries made by Internet will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
8. Winners List
The names of the winners will be posted online on or around July 27, 2007, at http://www.xbox.com/alltelpoker, and will remain posted until August 27, 2007.
