Rise Against is vocalist Tim McIlrath, bassist Joe Principe, drummer Brandon Barnes, and guitarist Zach Blair. In spring 2001, the band released their debut CD The Unraveling, and supported it with a lengthy tour. They followed it up with 2002's Revolutions Per Minute, Siren Song Of The Counter Culture (2004), The Sufferer & the Witness (2006), and their latest effort, Appeal to Reason. That CD debuted at number three on the Billboard Top 200 album chart, and spent a week at number one on the iTunes album chart.
