Underoath Recap

The rock band Underoath, one of Xbox.com's Emerging Artists, played Halo® 3 with Xbox LIVE® members on Thursday, April 3, and all the players had a blast.

Define The Great Line is Underoath's most recent release.

Playing with Underoath was really cool. It was especially awesome when I saw the message "ChrisUnderoath wants to play" at the bottom of my screen. I played with ChrisUnderoath (Chris) and JamesUnderoath (James), however JamesUnderoath was actually Tim because he didn't know how to set up his account, or something like that. I only got to play one game of Halo 3 with them because it was really early in the morning (3 A.M.) and after that game they went to sleep. Thank you Xbox, it was really fun playing with two of the members from my favorite band. Hopefully I get to play with them again because I was one of the lucky few that added them to my friends list as soon as I saw that this was going to be happening.

I'm sending this e-mail because I played Halo 3 on Xbox LIVE with the band Underoath on April 3. I saw their bulletin on Myspace and added them. Then, half an hour later, I had a game invite on Halo 3 to play. I and three others played the band in three games. My team won two of the three games but lost the third. Grant was pretty damn good at the game too, haha. Look forward to getting another chance to play with them. So I want to say thanks for getting Underoath to play Halo 3 with their fans! I'm a fan of the band so I'm still very excited about the whole thing!

I just played a couple matches with Underoath, and I have to say it was amazing. Microsoft could do some major stuff with bands and XBL.
