Account security is one of our top priorities at Xbox LIVE. With this release, all users, including Child and Teen accounts, will be prompted to provide two security proofs of identity. These security proofs – like a phone number, e-mail or a trusted device – will be used for some purchases and to help in recovery of compromised accounts. Parents are encouraged to verify the security proofs of Child and Teen accounts.
