New Boom Boom Rocket Rock Pack

EA's Xbox LIVE® Arcade hit Boom Boom Rocket™ is celebrating the holidays with spectacular fireworks of its own. The free Rock Pack update for the hypnotic rhythm music game now automatically delivers:

  • Improved fireworks.
  • Compatibility with guitar and dance mat controllers.
  • Japanese and Korean language support.
  • Controller type visible in leaderboards (can you be number one  on all three … controller, dance mat and guitar peripheral?).

New fireworks and songs for this Arcade favorite.

Boom Boom Rocket challenges you to fire rockets to the beat of music while traveling through a spectacular 3-D cityscape. The better you time the explosions, the more spectacular the fireworks effects.

New Songs
The fireworks are choreographed to 10 original tracks created by Ian Livingstone and EA now has FIVE additional songs available to add to the excitement. These rock-n-roll versions of classic favorites are free until December 16. After that, they will be available for 250 Microsoft Points. The new songs are:

  • Eine Kleine Rochtmusik (based on "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" by Mozart)
  • Cannon in D (based on "Canon in D" by Pachelbell)
  • Sugar High (based on "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" by Tchaikovsky)
  • Sting of the Bumble Bee (based on "Flight of the Bumblebee" by Rimsky-Korsakov)
  • Explode to Joy (based on "Ode to Joy" by Beethoven)

The new game features are free to current Boom Boom Rocket players and update automatically. They are included in the 800 points cost of the game for new players. The additional songs are available for download as a menu item and offered free until December 16.
