NHL 07

NHL 07
by WellsNorthShore:

Growing up a Kiwi sporting lad most would expect I was very much into my Cricket and Rugby and I was how could I not enjoy running around stomping on people with steel screwed into my shoes every Saturday. But one day while sitting on what must have been a very ordinary PC I embarked on a game called Face Off by Canadian developers MindSpan. I had seen the Mighty Ducks movies and thought it looked all in good fun but the moment I realized I could control people on steel blades fighting...

Table Tennis

Rockstar Presents Table Tennis
by Brianemone:

Some games grow on you over time, others slap you in the face and then leave you wanting, Table Tennis slaps you but has the goods to follow up, I have had a few people around to my house that have had a quick play and all of them really enjoyed having a quick smash of the ball. I have been playing since its release date and I still have not tired of playing...

Tomb Raider: Legend
by ACompleteMuppet:

As I’m a huge fan of the series I have been looking forward to this game for some time, hoping that Edios have truly brought Lara back from the dead after her dismal last outing. In my opinion they have succeeded...

Kameo

Kameo: Elements of Power
by Teljam:

The designers, Rare, are well known for making original and entertaining family-friendly games, and in Kameo, they’ve done it again. The story revolves around the main heroine, Kameo (who reminds me of Pocahontas) and her ability to morph into different creatures called Elemental Warriors who each have different abilities which you need to use to navigate the various levels in the game. The back-story is about Kameo and her search for her family which has been taken by the self-appointed King of the Trolls, Thorn.

Let's now have a closer look at some key aspects in Kameo...

Stubbs The Zombie

Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel without a Pulse
by Kumara Kid:

Set in the 1950’s in the futuristic city of Punchbowl, a weird combination if there ever was one. The city is promoted as the “utopia” of the world where robots do the menial jobs and humans are left to do things they like doing, like singing in a barber quartet, being a scientist or simply hanging out at the nearest milk bar. Stubbs the Zombie is “born” in Punchbowl and by the end of it has seen to its destruction.

FIFA 06

FIFA 06
by Teljam:

This year represents the most content in terms of modes and extras that I have ever witnessed in a FIFA game. I've played this series since the original version in 1995 and looking at this year's version really shows how far the series has come. Speaking of the older versions - You can view a special video which shows the history of the series since its inception - For me this was a wonderful inclusion and brought back a lot of fond memories.

In addition the various game play modes gives the player a number of options to play the game, from a quick one-off game, excellent multiplayer, through to a full blown career mode.

Let's now have a closer look at some key elements in FIFA 06...
