Insert Batteries

To insert batteries into the Xbox 360™ Media Remote:

1. Remove the remote battery cover.
2. Insert two new AA (LR6) batteries as shown on the underside of the remote battery cover. For best performance, AA rechargeable batteries are not recommended.
3. Replace the remote battery cover.

Watch Movies

The media remote lets you control DVD movie features and other media functions of your Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system.

To play DVD movies:

1. Press the eject button to open the disc tray.
2. Place the DVD movie on the disc tray with the label facing out.
3. Press the eject button to close the disc tray. The DVD movie will begin playing.

The Xbox 360 console can play only region 1 DVDs.
