Voice Messaging comes to Xbox Live

Time to get verbal

Voice interaction on Xbox Live is there to enhance your online experience. From launching a full verbal assault on a fallen assailant to firming up your team’s strategy for your next big move – voice plays an even bigger part.

For many of us, using your voice to play games is second nature – it’s an extension of our controller, quite literally. Now we’re extending the use of voice one step further with the addition of Voice Messaging.

Voice Messaging gives Xbox Live gamers the ability to add short Voice Messages to Friend requests. So when you find your perfect match on the battlefield, you can send them a quick verbal invite to join your Friends List. Who knows what you’d be capable of together…

To get this service update, just sign-in to Xbox Liveas normal and your Dashboard will be updated automatically. Brush up on those one-liners, now you can have the first word and the last.
