An Xbox 360™ gamer who enjoys fierce, no-nonsense competition (see also Xbox Live® Pro Gamer Zone).
What Makes a Pro?
The Pro is gonna getcha. You can hide, but you can't run. Or vice-versa.
Of the four Gamer Zones, the one that earns instant respect is undoubtedly the pro zone. Pro gamers are the gamers that griefers wish they could be. If the Gamer Zones were members of G.I. Joe, the pro would totally be Duke. Or maybe Snake-Eyes. No wait, Stalker. Okay, let's start over …
The pro gamer is dedicated to the art of gameplay. The pro is there to win, but even if the pro loses, the pro does not weep. The pro learns from defeats and comes back twice as strong—not for revenge, but because the pro is compelled to demonstrate true gaming prowess, with a minimum of distractive yammering.
The pro is on Xbox Live to play, and most likely to win. The pro is not there to listen to your human beat box impression or your personal rendition of "My Heart Will Go On." And while the pro is no dirty snitch, she will report you if you show up in her zone with an underground attitude.
The pro doesn't have time for your funny story about the thing with the other thing that fell over last week and broke your grandma's favorite lamp. If you're in need of social interaction, go elsewhere. The pro is here to perform.
The pro knows that mottos, gamer pictures, and reputation only mean so much on Xbox Live—the pro's primary concern is racking up those achievements. The pro isn't averse to showing off, as long as you don't interrupt the game to ogle the pro's trophy case.
The pro likes tacos. Everyone likes tacos. But only after the game is over.
