Windows Millennium Edition

With Windows ME you need to install ICS before you can share the connection.

Installing ICS

1. From the Start menu, choose Control Panel and click Add/Remove Programs from the left panel.
   
2. Select Communications on the list of programs and clickDetails.
   
3. Click the Internet Connection Sharing check box.
   
4. Click OK and OK.
   
5. When asked to reboot your computer, click OK.

Enabling ICS

1. When your computer has rebooted, the Home Networking Wizard appears. Click Next
   
2. Below "Yes, this computer uses the following:" click A direct connection to my ISP using the following device:
   
3. Select the WAN card from the drop-down list. Click Next.
   If both cards have the same name, you might have to guess.
   
4. Below "Do you want other computers on your home network to use the Internet connection on this computer?" Click Yes.
   
5. Select the remaining card on the drop-down list (you should see only one). Click Next.
   
6. Click No, do not create a Home Networking Setup disk. This is not necessary for your Xbox connection.
   
7. Click Next.
   
8. When a message appears, restart your computer.
   When your computer has restarted, the following message appears.
   
9. Click OK.
