Reserve your space on the family sofa this coming Saturday, 7 November. You’ll want to be in optimum position, celebratory drink in hand, to savour the first of four “Halo Legends” previews, coming to you via the newly launched Halo Waypoint.
Halo Waypoint is the new virtual home for Halo on Xbox LIVE. It is the only place you’ll find full-episode previews of the eagerly awaited anime series “Halo Legends”, never-before-told stories based on themes and characters in the vast Halo universe. Over the next three months, visitors to Halo Waypoint on Xbox LIVE will be first to witness four Halo Legends previews as part of 24-hour live-streaming events. And following each episode there will be exclusive behind-the-scenes documentaries that reveal the secrets of each studio’s creative process.
The first episode of “Halo Legends” will launch in early 2010 distributed by Warner Home Video. “The Babysitter” is created by the Japanese animation house STUDIO4˚C, focusing on a team of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers who must welcome a Spartan Sniper into their ranks. Their orders are to assassinate a high-ranking Covenant Prophet, but old rivalries threaten to jeopardise the mission.
