Porsches, Lamborghinis and more – plus a special surprise!

Forza Motorsport 2 totally dominates the racing genre thanks to its hyper-realistic gameplay and its awesome collection of world-class autos. But you can never have too much of a good thing, so here’s ten more for you – plus a little bonus, just because we’re nice like that.

Forza Motorsport 2

It’s all part of a new downloadable content pack comprising a roster of autos that reads like a petrol-head’s dream. Try these for size:

  • 1967 Lamborghini Miura P400
  • 1970 Dodge Challenger  R/T Hemi
  • 2006 Audi R10 (#8 Audi Sport Team Joest) Prototype
  • 2006 Dodge Challenger Concept
  • 2006 Honda Civic Si Coupe
  • 2007 Honda Civic Type-R
  • 2006 Lamborghini Miura Concept
  • 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 RS (997)
  • 2007 Saturn Sky Red Line
  • 2007 SEAT Leon Supercup

The 4.0 Litre V12 Miura pumps out an impressive 350BHP, and with its top speed of 170mph and gorgeous Bertone-designed bodywork it pretty much wrote the book about Supercars in its time. That said, the ’67 Miura pales in comparison to the ’06 ‘concept’ model, which lays down an incomprehensible 640BHP and an almost obscene top speed.

But the rest of the cars in this collection are no slouches either – the race-tuned 2006 Audi TDI is the successor to the legendary Le Mans-winning R8 and will give most petrol-powered cars a fright they won’t forget. Meanwhile the 1970 Dodge R/T Hemi has enough pure muscle to keep pace with a Ferrari 512TR, and who among us hasn’t watched open-mouthed as a sleek 911 passes at such speed you have to check you haven’t slipped into reverse gear by accident!

Yes, we simply can’t wait to get our hands on these motors, and because they’re appearing in Forza 2 you can be sure they look and handle like the real thing in every detail.

The Forza 2 content pack is available to download from Xbox LIVE Marketplace on September 21st, for an entirely reasonable 400 MS Points. But if that deal isn’t sweet enough for you we’ve thrown in the street-tough ’07 SEAT Cupra absolutely FREE. Well, we did say we were nice like that...
