The world of entertainment becomes a vibrant new experience on Xbox LIVE with this line-up of great features coming soon. If you think you’re having a great time on LIVE with friends and family until now, wait until you see what’s next!
First up Music games stores. You’ll soon be able to download fresh tunes for your favourite music games with dedicated stores for “Rock Band”, “Guitar Hero” and “Lips”. You can hear songs before downloading without loading up the full game.
Next, Avatar Marketplace! From summer you’ll have an always expanding wardrobe of clothes and accessories to make your NXE Avatar a true individual. There will also be “Avatar Awardables” earned from in-game achievements, animated props and themed costumes, and finally racks of premium items to buy. The new Avatar Marketplace will be accessed directly through the Avatar editor.
Now let’s talk about the games. Having pioneered gaming downloads with Xbox LIVE Arcade and Xbox Originals, the next evolution is Games on Demand – the arrival of full Xbox 360 games on Xbox LIVE Marketplace. You’d better believe it, titles that include Assassin’s Creed, BioShock, Mass Effect and LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga” will join a library of over 30 blockbusters at launch.
Meanwhile we’re also welcoming the second annual Summer of Arcade to Xbox LIVE Arcade. Look out for awesome new titles such as “Shadow Complex,” “Trials HD,” “Splosion Man,” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled,” and “MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 2”.
