Superbike action revs-up on PGR4

Developer Bizarre Creations has dropped an ultra-seismic gaming bombshell at this year’s E3 – highly anticipated racing sequel Project Gotham Racing 4 will feature high-powered motorbikes in addition to the already extensive range of performance sports cars! The inclusion of bikes from top manufacturers including Ducati and Honda adds a completely new dimension to the franchise; cornering on the iconic metropolis street circuits is now all the more challenging, with the advantage coming in the form of super-fast acceleration that outclasses all but the most powerful of exotic sports cars. Accomplished riding racks up the Kudos score, but this can be boosted still further by performing stunts and tricks as you race.

Project Gotham Racing 4 also includes another new, all-important gameplay addition: realistic weather. Expect treacherous conditions including rain, snow and fog to make an appearance. Just like real life, conditions can change quickly, so an overcast day can swiftly lead to a torrential downpour of rain, for example.

The weather is tied closely to the game locations, with Project Gotham Racing featuring ten super-realistic areas: London, Tokyo, Las Vegas, New York City and the Nurburgring are reprised from PGR3, with a further quintet of new locales debuting in the new game: Macau, Quebec, Shanghai, Saint Petersburg and the world famous Michelin test track.

With additional features including enhanced new eight-player Xbox Live gameplay, new online community modes, and a range of iconic sports cars spanning decades of automotive history, Project Gotham Racing 4 looks set to be an unmissable new game, and it’s available to buy this September.
