Naruto: The Broken Bond only for Xbox 360

Excellent news for fans of Naruto the indomitable trainee ninja. Ubisoft has just proclaimed that the eagerly awaited sequel to last year’s “Naruto: Rise of a Ninja” will be available only for Xbox 360. “Naruto: The Broken Bond” is looking every bit as dynamic and entertaining as its forerunner and will be here in time for Christmas.

Naruto: The Broken Bond

Whereas Rise of a Ninja traced Naruto’s origins as a clumsy though impossibly powerful student, The Broken Bond finds him already established as a ninja. Sadly Naruto’s best friend through ninja school, Sasuke, is already jealous of his chum’s newfound popularity. Rather stupidly, Sasuke is tricked into joining a band of evil warriors with the promise of power beyond his wildest imaginings. Of course this all goes terribly wrong for the gullible youngster, requiring his best buddy – yes Naruto – to come to the rescue. Although he’s going to need some assistance from other best-loved Naruto characters along the way.

Naruto: The Broken Bond explodes onto Xbox LIVE with an improved version of the “Rise…” online versus multiplayer mode to decide who is the ultimate ninja. The single player Story mode is once again created in conjunction with TV TOKYO Corporation and SHUEISHA Inc. to ensure events are as faithful to the original animation series as possible.

Everything we loved about Rise of the Ninja – the cell-shaded visual style, and depiction of famous events from Naruto lore – is back again for the sequel. And it’s a great honour, though deservedly so, to receive Naruto: The Broken Bond exclusively on Xbox 360.
