Mission Mode expands Ninja Gaiden 2
As of today there are 24 new missions for Ninja Gaiden 2 available to download from Xbox LIVE Marketplace. No, your eyes have not been subjected to Ryu Hayabusa’s Ninpo magic, that’s 24 brand new missions – equivalent to a whole new campaign mode, but all for only 800MS points and coming soon… like this week!
Team Ninja has created the mother of all expansion packs for the ultimate ninja action escapade on Xbox 360. We’ve had plenty of extra download content for Nina Gaiden 2 so far, with Gamerpics and Themes to embellish your dashboard and Gamercard, and lately three amazing costumes to use in-game (our current favourite is the Biometal) with surprising gameplay consequences. This next download offering makes even this excellent hoard seem puny. Mission Mode is all about the gameplay, and offers 24 self-contained missions, each one themed to challenge the full range of Ryu Hayabusa’s formidable ninja skills. You’ll easily get to grips with Survival based missions, though it won’t be easy fending off enemies with only one type of weapon to master. More focus is required in Karma Attack missions, in which you are aiming for the highest scores possible. You’ll need to have learned and then be ready to apply every aspect of Ryu’s ninja abilities to push that number as high as it can go. Your efforts will not go unnoticed; all high scores will be represented on the Ninja Gaiden 2 Mission Leaderboards for all to admire on Xbox LIVE.
