LIVE Arcade: 1942 and Go! Go!
Break Steady

We’ve an old favourite renewed and a modern classic busting onto Xbox LIVE Arcade from today. An update of Capcom’s seminal blaster, 1942, is here to tempt you alongside Go! Go! Break Steady – a brash and colourful rhythm and puzzle game that teaches you to break-dance with your fingers!

1942, Go! Go! Break Steady, Xbox LIVE Marketplace, Xbox 360

1942: Joint Strike is an all-new addition to the revered 194X series of vertically scrolling shooters. The gameplay is viewed from a top-down perspective, just like the superb 1980s originals, but the high-definition 3D visuals will have you on the edge of your chair, hair standing on end. It’s a pseudo-WWII battlefield below, with heavy artillery aimed at you and your wing man. The Joint Strike subheading refers to special attacks that can only be performed as a duo. We strongly recommend that you find yourself a wing man, either on the same sofa or on Xbox LIVE, to meet the challenge. In case you’ve forgotten, or perhaps too young to have known in the first place, 1942 has huge, merciless bosses to defeat!

Nervous, shaking fingers are an ideal start for Go! Go! Break Steady, with its combination of rhythm action and puzzle solving. This vibrant and original new game for LIVE Arcade casts you as Hydro and his All City Crew versus DJ Scruffy an the Beatniks who’ve lined up 20 songs for you to master. Your ultimate aim is to become Break Steady Tournament Champions, but to get there you’ll need to combine your sense of timing with uncanny observation skills to bust all the moves. Go! Go! Break Steady is fun enough playing solo but it’s more of a party with friends playing locally or across Xbox LIVE.

Both 1942: Joint Strike and Go! Go! Break Steady are available now on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 800MS points each.
