All those years of shouting the correct answers out to TV quiz shows, but for what? When we stood in the 1 vs 100 spotlight we dried up as if we were suddenly shy to show off our superior intellect in public. Hey, that’s our excuse and we’re sticking to it.
No problem, though, because win or lose, merely participating in 1 vs 100 is a guaranteed laugh. That must be why our audiences just keep on growing – more than 2.5 million people have downloaded 1 vs 100 on Xbox LIVE so far, and over 200,000 around the world tune into play every single day. Those are record-breaking numbers!
Some of you will have more reason to chuckle than others too, having walked off with any one of a glittering array of prizes – cars, home theatre equipment, those ever-useful MS Points (we’ve given away over a million of them so far!) and more.
Yes, 1 vs 100 has been a runaway success in its first run, and we’re certainly not going to spoil the party when it’s in such full swing. Instead, we’re extending the 1 vs 100 Beta season by another two weeks. The finale now airs on August 29, 2009 at 7:30pm in the UK and Ireland, although you can enjoy 1 vs 100 ‘Extended Play’ episodes until September 13, 2009.
