Our Silver service

An Xbox Live® Silver Membership is free of charge for all Xbox 360™ owners - so there's no reason not to try it, even if you're just the slightest bit curious.

You need a storage device, such as the Xbox 360 Hard Drive or the Xbox 360 Memory Unit, as well as a headset if you want to voice chat.

How to get started:

1. Connect your Xbox 360 to your broadband connection using the Ethernet cable provided (or an Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter, sold separately).
   
   
   
2. When you create a gamer profile during setup, choose I want to join Xbox Live to create a new Xbox Live account.

Can't find it on the dashboard? On the Xbox Live Membership screen, select Xbox Live Silver (remember to tab down!).

Silver Membership is the perfect introduction to the new Xbox Live and everything it has to offer. Once you see what's online, you won't believe what you've been missing.

Of course, Xbox Live is primarily an online multiplayer service, and you need an Xbox Live Gold Membership to do that.
