There are three ways to get into a game on Xbox Live, each of these options is available in-game, every game.
Quick Match
Looking for a quick gaming hit? This is for you. Choose Quick Match and you'll jump straight into the first online game that's available to join. It doesn't matter what type of game is being played, who is playing it or even what language they speak - it's all about instant, gratuitous gaming.
OptiMatch
Choose this option if you want to be a little more selective over what, who and how you play online. Looking for gamers on your skill level? Easy. Want to play a specific level, track or game mode? No problem. Just head into OptiMatch and tweak the search options to suit your mood.
Create Match
Of course, it takes someone to create an online game for others to be able to join it. If you fancy wearing the gaming-trousers, try starting your own. Setting up your game is dead easy and you get to pick exactly how it is played; which level, weapons, vehicles, game mode... anything goes. Once you're happy with your selection, you can invite your friends to come and play or sit tight and wait for other gamers to join in.
