New Xbox Experience arrives!
Nothing remotely routine about today, guys, because the New Xbox Experience is here. Tonight I’ll be throwing my inaugural Xbox LIVE Party, but in preparation for this I’ll be concentrating on making my first Xbox LIVE Avatar. Sweet. If you’re yet to download the update may I suggest that you sign in to Xbox LIVE and welcome the revolution; it really is sensational. Although we’ve seen and read so much about NXE, until you’re a part of it you cannot truly understand. But if I can sum up for you, the New Xbox Experience brings together all of your favourite digital entertainment into one very attractive space. As a whole it represents who you really are more succinctly than ‘Old School’ Xbox LIVE. It’s surprising how quickly you become precious about your Xbox LIVE Avatar, and can’t wait to join your friends on LIVE if only just to chat and show off.
Games are already being created especially for Avatars to have starring roles. A Kingdom for Keflings just launched on Xbox LIVE Arcade. Also UNO, Hardwood Hearts, Hardwood Spades and Bomberman LIVE now have Avatar support, so there’s plenty of fun opportunities out there even now. And best of all, NXE doesn’t cost you a bean so what are you waiting for? Anyway, enjoy your first baby steps into the new Xbox LIVE frontier. Most likely it’ll involve rounding up your pals for quality music whether it’s Lips, Rock Band 2, or Guitar Hero World Tour all released this week. But thrill seekers will undoubtedly be drawn toward the latest Need for Speed or else the adventures of Lara Croft in Tomb Raider Underworld. But when everyone else has gone to bed, I’ll certainly be marauding my friends list for escapades in Valve’s zombie-thriller Left 4 Dead.
