2008: Faster, Tougher, Cooler, Meaner and Rockin’!

Are you ready for another blockbuster year on Xbox 360? I know I am; I can hardly wait. My insides are still quivering like the aftermath of a rollercoaster marathon, but looking at my top secret release schedule here at Xbox HQ I can tell you that 2008 will feel like an earthquake by comparison. So hold on tight.

Burnout Paradise, Lost Odyssey, Too Human, Grand Theft Auto IV, Rock Band, Alan Wake… it’s a mouth-watering feast even before factoring in the certainty of more Halo 3 DLC and plenty more action from Xbox LIVE Arcade on a weekly basis. 2008 is already officially better than a whole year of Christmases rolled into one.

And I’m not done with the list-making yet! Coming very soon after Christmas we’ll have FIFA Street 3, Star Wars: Force Unleashed and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 to raise our heartbeats to a healthy pace. Looking further down the line, don’t you forget (not that you could anyway) Halo Wars, Resident Evil 5, Devil May Cry 4 and Fable 2.

And, as 2007 has certainly proved, we’ll continue to broaden our horizons to keep the family involved throughout 2008. We’ve some incredibly exciting plans that are yet to be revealed for Xbox 360, guaranteeing fun for everyone in your home space. The Xbox LIVE Marketplace Video Store and great software such as Viva Piñata Party Animals have only been the start of what’s to come.

In case it hasn’t quite sunk in just yet, 2008 is all set to be another fantastic 12 months of experiences not just for you, but for everybody you care to share it with. (Note to self: stop being so selfish).
