Everyone loves my great Lips

I’m counting the days until the holidays, and I’ll bet my turkey dinner you’ve been doing the same. My fingers are busy typing here, but my head is already imagining home where with family and friends are singing and dancing to Lips.

Lips

Nothing bonds good people like a hearty sing-song, and this is exactly the spirit that Lips captures so well. Everybody loves to sing, even if it’s when you think nobody is listening. I don’t want to turn this into an advice column, ‘Dear AceyBongos’ or anything corny like that, but… well okay I do, but only just this once! You have to give yourself the opportunity to play Lips this holiday, dear reader. The fun you’ll have if you take courage and reach for the mic will be life-changing.

Lips pushes you to perform too (the wireless mics are motion-sensing and judge how you move to the music) so the experience is even more exhilarating. The harder you try to hit the notes just right and put your body into it, the more rewarding it is. You’ve got to give it everything – which has always been my style, and my friends are finally figuring out why. Guys that just used to talk their way through Ring of Fire are actually sort of singing and swinging their arms a little bit. It’s great!

The 40 songs you get on the disc are classics by any standards, Beyoncé (“Irreplaceable”) side by side with Ben E King (“Stand By Me”) and Nirvana (“In Bloom”). But this holiday you can download a selection of seasonal songs too, that include “Blue Christmas” by Elvis Presley, “The Dreidel Song” by Sister Hazel and “It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” by Andy Williams.

This holiday is all about Lips, and I don’t just mean under the mistletoe.
