Following the usual routine, we got on the bus to the show and then – wow – Leipzig was packed! Gamers from across Europe had flocked to the area for the beginning of the consumer portion of the show and the convention centre really came alive.
We made a break for the press tent for some orange juice and a breather from, the packed halls. In the tent we found Larry Hyrb, a.k.a. Major Nelson and had a quick chat with him about Xbox 360 and some of his favourite games.
Going to the stand afterwards, we were blown away by how many people there were suddenly! Gamers from all over the world were here to play the latest Xbox 360 games and see our Christmas line-up before anyone else.
Rockstar Games had set up table tennis tables all over their stand, but there weren’t any paddles on these tables. Gamers could play Rockstar Table Tennis in High Definition and show off their skills at the show.
You could even show off in the World Cyber Games at the show, which included one of the many PGR 3 Xbox tournaments at Leipzig. Bizarre Creation’s racer proved popular across the convention.
